Is it "khaki", or is it "beige"? Now you'll know what that color is probably called... by finding the closest match from digital standards like X11 and W3C as well as approximations of non-digital color sources like Crayola crayons.
Is it a good shade of blue for "Deep Winter" or for "True Summer"? If you've ever finally figured out your wardrobe color season but still cannot tell which shade is right for you just by looking at it, next time you're looking at items on your browser, maybe this extension can help!
PLEASE NOTE: The digital color detected is subject to your computer's as well as your browser's color profile settings. Different computers may not display a pixel exactly the same way. This extension can only provide a best guess based on the particular hex code detected using your current color profile settings.

- (2022-08-24) Arefin Bashar Arif: The plan was excellent in theory but poorly executed in practice. Hovering the mouse over any part of the screen displays the corresponding color code and associated information, however there is no way to pause the display and copy the data. As soon as you move your mouse away from the subject the information will continuously update. Bet you need a pen and paper to write the color code in 2022 lol. The developer has to provide a button to "stop" the process so that we can easily save our data.

- (2020-11-06) Lorenzio Ortega: you just turn it on, point the cursor over what color on your screen you want identified, and it gives you all the information you need right down to its hex code. I find the names of the hues identified pretty interesting too. Didnt even know heather violet was a thing till now. Anyway, it's defintitely useful for certain needs. I might not use it often, but its nice to know i have it
