YouTube currently does not support viewing the profile pictures of channels in it's full resolutions. Though most of the channels do upload a decent quality picture which is not visible to it's whole glory.
That's where the extension comes in, it makes the profile picture clickable and opens the image in a new modal window on the same page/tab.
This is a raw attempt at making it work.
