Been using it for over a year and I'm at the point where I just trust it every time it blocks a site. So I navigate away and get on with my day. I put it on my kids' Chromebooks, too, because I don't even want to know where they're trying to go but now I don't have to worry about it. I can't believe it's free!

- (2023-11-19) davhutton: It works in incognito mode, but you must go in and turn that function on. The fact that it offers password protection against changes makes it heads above the others. It blocks porn sites well, and the only thing I can imagine adding is a time delay feature as an option instead of password protection. It can be bypassed, but I don't see it as being easy, nor can it be done without leaving a glaring trail of activity. Good app and worth the 4.5+ star reviews

- (2023-08-10) Ira Weinstock: I have used many Parental Control software over the years but all of them I had limitations like only being installed on the entire device which slows it down and few categories which creates the need to always micromanage and allow more websites as however this one has many categories of different levels allowing you to customize it completely also if you are concerned parent you can see what your child is trying to access without having to go for their entire history and micromanaging them however I only recommend this for parents of children 12 and older with mutual Trust as you can remove this extension and just opening up a different browser the way I see it is a way to be easily informed about your child's online activities and for them to not accidentally stumble upon an appropriate content and even if they do you would be able to see that and discuss it with them

My bank account got hacked 2 days after I started using this app and logged into my bank, and never been hacked for 12 years. I cant confirm that this app was spying but its highly suspicious and recommend others to keep an eye out.

- (2023-01-29) I'm a cybersecurity enthusiast and I noticed, that once I find a brand-new phishing website, which is completely undetectable by all antivirus vendor at Virustotal, alphaMountain a9 becomes the first to detect it right away in about 2-6 hours. Only after that other AV vendors will slowly come to detect the phish website in 3 -4 days and even more. I don't know how they manage to be so efficient - a miracle to me. I highly recommend everyone to install it - already installed at family members' PCs.

The problem with this extension (as with all Chrome extensions) is that you can't prevent the extension from being removed or switched off. There is a way to do this however, by adding an registry key for Chrome which creates a Chrome policy and prevents the extension of your choice from being removed or switched off.
