I don’t know what the hell y'all did to it, it was working fine before, not it doesn't start downloading after scanning the a page. I tried to stop it from updating on my second laptop but ofc I was not able to so now I'm screwed.
• (2024-05-28) Joe Elite: The fix isn't working. It will detect the video now, but nothing happens when you press start. It worked perfectly fine last week.
• (2024-05-14) Iosif Gagyi Palffy: Tried the website and the extension, neither detect anything, the website (Fdown) says the video might be private (it's not). I don't blame the plugin, I'm sure FB tries hard to keep that stuff undownloadable, but the fact is that the plugin doesn't work. UPDATE: At least the website works now (for Reels anyway), tried the plugin again 2 years later on FB, refreshed the page, still nothing.

Its easy to use, open the extention and you'll see a whole lotta download links pop up, almost all media on the website your on (Exept youtube, the extension doesn't work there because of legal stuff) is detected and can be downloaded! Idk if google gives me a notification or something when someone replies, but reply and I will respond if you think im a bot lol

• (2023-07-26) Ronald Ramakers: By reloading the page this extension works. However, it includes many menus which makes this extension unnecessarily complicated. Just download from the website https://fdown.net/download.php which is much easier. Moreover, from the website it's possible to choose 'normal quality' or 'HD quality'. The extension only downloads HD quality which is mostly unnecessary as you mostly won't notice any difference in quality but HD files are much larger. So, I removed this extension and use the link on the website.

• (2023-07-13) Shadow Realm: That is very nice, I did not expected it to pick video up but it did, despite site having a very video downloading unfriendly setup. I was not able to get video even by feeding m3u8 to yt-dlp directly, but this extension did it. Great job!
