Ameyo is a tool for the “New Tab” page that helps you track your daily habits, list daily tasks, remember what you did yesterday, store future tasks in the backlog, and track your progress.
At midnight every day, Ameyo will...

Only things I'd add add are, (1) the ability to have habits that aren't daily: for example, if you want to check off cleaning your room every week, for that habit to only appear (or be unchecked) every 7 days; and (2) the ability to pause habits when they're not relevant to you, for example, not having to tidy your desk when you're on holiday.

- (2021-04-09) Dee Wongsa Glazebrook: I love this app! It's super simple, but it has all the features I need and nothing I don't. It's the best digital to-do list and habit tracker I've found, because it has no bells and whistles to distract you from actually getting things done. I have an analog bullet journal to do most of my planning but when I'm in the flow, working on the computer, it's easier to just open a new tab and see my tasks than to open my journal and flip to the right page and decipher my handwriting. My workflow is: 1. rapid logging of tasks in an analog bullet journal 2. only keep top 3 computer-based tasks for the day into Ameyo under Today 3. if I can't get one of the 3 tasks done for today, I put it into backlog with an explanation of why. Ex: "Waiting on Gary -> send TPS report" 4. when I finish tasks, I check them off and add more from my bullet journal 5. review bujo at end of day to make sure I didn't miss anything

- (2021-03-03) Bhanu NBV: HI Alex, It's Simple & Effective App, I love it. One request though to add more functionality around grouping tasks. Do not want or suggest a bloated project tracking system. But see the feasibility if it can done. Requirement: Lets say, I want to write a blog post on blockchain and break down into following tasks: 1. Research 2. Stats, current and potential use cases 3. Images 4. Writing the blog post I group all these tasks as "blockchain blogpost" and add them in Backlog. Following are requirements: 1. Ability to add group name 2. When moving the task from backlog to today, group name should be copied similar to color as it is now 3. Provide a tool tip 4. Provide a chart to show the group progress with tasks in statistics One more: Rollover of the habits by unchecking everyday might be simplified by adding end date or number of days while adding the habit. These are few suggestions I got after using it for couple of hours. Just to reemphasise again, it is a very useful extension. Thanks
