Introducing Cellar - a simple extension that shows you an Amazon seller's country of origin as you browse!
All data is loaded from Amazon seller pages in browser.
Cached locally - so it will speed up the over time.
No data leaves the extension.
Warning: clearing your cache or using in incognito/private browsing will bypass the cache and slow down loading seller page information.
Supported for all Amazon operating countries except:
- Canada [amazon.ca] - no seller information provided
- China [amazon.cn] - extension is unnecessary as seller country flag is already shown by Amazon.
- India [amazon.in] - no seller information provided
NOTE: This extension has no affiliation with Amazon.com or any of it's products.

- (2021-10-25) Brad Kowaleski: It's ok. 1/2 the time it just tells me "N/A. Ask seller/Amazon to update their info." The other 1/2 it'll give a country, but it seems to be based on shipping location, not the Brand's country of origin. e.g. I know Bosch is a German brand, but it shows the US for the location. Also, this extension's website: http://thecellarextension.com is non-existent. I love the idea, but the execution is lacking.
- (2021-10-09) Jeremy Comer: I really like this extension, but I am now experiencing an issue. with the extension enabled I can no longer view amazon search results past the first page. ie you search and then click on next or page 2 and it just reloads page 1. Disabling the extensions fixes the issue.

- (2021-06-11) Keri Salyers: The idea is amazing and would be very helpful however the addon itself just showed me N/A N/A N/A for two pages of listings! Closed the browser and re-started and it showed the same.

- (2021-05-14) Matúš Vacula: So far it didn't show me any country of origin on the German site of Amazon. It only shows N/A and the loading time is horrible. The idea is great though. I hope this could be fixed soon.

- (2021-01-25) Christophe Foyer: Seems to work, also works on non-US amazon websites, just displays on the seller though, not the product. Just in case you were looking for exact country-of-origin. Does a good job of giving a list of suppliers for amazon products though!

- (2020-12-02) South Bay Pools: This is the best! I wish everyone knew about this extension. I am sure there are many people like me who were unknowingly buying products from foreign sellers. Now that I know where everyone is from, it's much easier to buy from and support American businesses
