Powtoon Capture is a free screen and webcam recorder that allows you to easily record your screen, face, or both.
What can you do with Powtoon Capture:
1. Record a video message from a website, application, or anything else on Chrome

- the customer service isnt the best! They do an excellent job of making it difficult to speak to someone for help. I love being able to use this program for more than 1 thing. The learning curve isnt hard at all. The extension eliminates the use of different applications & does a good job of simplifying the face / faceless video making technique. The problem with the extension is that it needs to occassionally be uninstalled & reinstalled so the feature works. Maybe its just me. It worked on my laptop but not my pc & I was using the same exact browser & login info for both. I had to uninstall it & reinstall it again. Im not sure why its not just integrated into powtoons. Outside of the bug ( which can really be annoying), I think its an excellent extension to add to your browser. Being able to record 1 vid for 1 hr and 10 mins is pretty good too...

Moreover, if you actively use Powtoon, as me, it's easily integrated, and gives you a possibility to record and insert recorder video right to your powtoon project. Stunning!!! 🤩

- this app is HORIBLE. I mean SO HORRIBLE. the tool is broken and the editing screen freezes and the recording tool doesn't even work. you cant even click it. i clicked it 100 times and then i get no response DO NOT DOWNLOAD

- This tool is awesome. I use it for so many facets as a teaching tool & it is great. The video portion is not as intuitive as some other programs, but once you figure it out then it's good to go. The best part is their support team seems to be genuinely helpful! My extension has had issues working from time to time, but again their support tea is here for you!

- The feature is great, but sometimes the Chrome extension button is slow to respond. Sometimes with the first click it opens up, and other times you have to click the extension button about 5-6 times for you to begin your Powtoon Capture.

- I read lots of good reviews about this so I went ahead and added it to Chrome. It didn't even turn on! I clicked on the extension multiple times, and nothing happened. Total time waster. Just use OBS or another screen recorder.

- IT WONT WORK! when i checked the comments i saw good reviews until when i downloaded it, i press the extensions an clicked powtoon it wont open i tried several times until it wont work. You would see the reviews nice but for me it wont WORK
