Switching back and forth between Google Translate and Whatsapp is distracting and time-consuming. This translation app makes it fast and easy to translate your conversations on Whatsapp with Google Translate. Now you can effortlessly communicate with friends, family, and customers around the world.
***How It Works***
For WhatsApp messages sent to you:
1) Hover over any message.
2) Tap “Translate”
3) View the translation.
For WhatsApp messages you want to send:
1) In the send message field, write your message in English or your native language 2) Tap Translate to the left of the field.
3) Copy the translation and press send!
***Things You Should Know***
Please note this app will only work on WhatsApp’s Web App (https://web.whatsapp.com)
Make sure to set your language in the extension settings. It will automatically translate everything to that language.
We utilize the API provided by Google Translate to translate sentences and words. While not as accurate as human translation, this ensures translations are as accurate as they can be. We recommend using clear uncomplicated sentences for the best translations.

- (2021-07-09) Mike T: The only thing this extension does is that it opens Google Translate for you. You still need to select Translate over the incoming message, and read it from Google Translate. Then, it says to send a message in the send message field, write your message in your native language, select Translate to the left of the field, copy the translation and press send! No! The original message you have in the message input field needs to be deleted, and you need to paste the copied, translated message! What is the point??? Try and automate all of these manual steps that still need to be done.

- (2022-01-12, v:1.8) Bill McRook: Just stopped working suddenly
It worked well for a month, except that it didn't seem to like emojis (they would just post as ?? question marks). Suddenly, it would not show the conversation at all, but just an empty screen. Anything written will post untranslated on the whatsapp screen, but the langlang screen just stays empty. I tried clearing the cache, clearing the data, uninstalling & re-installing... to no avail. I upgraded to Pro version but it seems to take forever... how long is it supposed to take?
