Once i disable for a while. It fixes the issue. But it works so well "microphone levels auto adjusting". I wish it wasn't cause the disturbance.

• (2022-01-24) Maxime C.: Unfortunately it's not working for me for 2 reasons: 1) I'm using Loom extension to record videos/audio on Chrome, and when the Disable Automatic Gain Control is on or off, it doesn't change a thing, I can still see my mic gain change in windows sound settings. 2) I would also need to be able to switch this app on/off for every website at once, and not every time I need to record a new video (in my use case, I record videos on different websites everyday, so it's a little annoying). For now, I will keep using Voicemeter software, which does the job very well, but it has some minor downsides too when managing sound level, which is why I would have love this extension to work. I hope this comment will help to improve the extension, I'll change my rating if it's fixed in the future.

It was extremely frustrating since I had to adjust manually the volume on every call and kept an eye on it or it would randomly cut me off. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS EXTENSION

  First of THANK YOU for creating this. But it doesn't seem to be working in Chrome 98.0.4758.82 (64-bit). We're using BigMarker, a webinar hosting service, and the mic levels are adjusting wildly, only in Chrome, not other browsers. So we hoped this plugin was the fix, but alas, despite being installed and activated, it still is automatically adjusting the gain. Is there a possible update for this that could be a fix?

  I'm trying to get this to work with the Loom extension, but I can't get it to prevent chrome from changing the audio. Only affects the loom chrome extension, not the desktop app.

  This extension works perfectly for google meet and MS teams. But if I go to Onedrive, and from there open a word document in browser using "Word Online", and then click on the Dictate button, the microphone level keeps auto adjusting. (One possible reason could be that the Dictate feature might be calling microsoft's speech recognition engine somewhere, and we need to specify that location to your extension)

I've enabled the extension per the instructions and I can see that it is on during meetings, but I still see the volume of my input changing on its own in the Mac Audio settings dialog.
