When quickly looking through csv data files online, you either have to download and open them with Excel, Numbers, etc., or try to skim through the data in its raw state...
CSV Reader makes it much easier: It allows you to look at the data formatted as a table, so you can make decisions faster.
This extension transforms raw csv to a simple html table in seconds, and shows it online in the same tab:
Give CSV Reader some settings (separator, title line, lines to skip, links in text) and it will format the table nicely so it's easy to read, in the same tab where the data was.
The extension now stops .csv files from downloading, and remembers your settings for each url.
If needed, you can easily reset the data with a single click.

- Would prefer that it display the CSV in table form by default, but having to click the icon isn't so bad. -½★ for that, and another -½★ for the fact that you have to fill in the form every time you use it. Otherwise, Outstanding!

- I really have enjoyed using this tool! Unfortunately after the recent Chrome 120.0.6099.71 update it is not working the same way Now it automatically downloads and does nothing if the Google Site settings prevent multiple downloads

- This worked compared to other similar extentsions. But it is not working in "Incognito Mode". Tried enabling in the settings "Allow in Incognito" and restarted the chrome. Still it is not working in Incognito Mode. Is it a bug or any suggestions?

- Not all functionality works as advertised. As of 4/13/2022, it DOES NOT intercept csv files on download. However, if, for some reason, you find a web page displaying unformatted csv data, it will work on that page. If it can get the advertised intercept functionality working and open it in a new tab, that would be fantastic!

- Very practical extension ! Like Mohamed Jebali, I miss two features : The fact it detects CSV from content-type, and the fact it remembers the settings (for a page or globally) Also I had problems with line returns inside fields, even delimited with quotes, but it was already very helpful ! Thanks for the good work !

- This would be perfect if it would detect if the current page is returning a csv, and also if it would remember the settings because I have to change the separator everytime I reload the page

- Completely unclear how to use this extension. Just tells me "This doesn't seem to work here, please try a different page..." Cannot Browse File. If I tell Chrome to open a CSV file, it will download the file, and the message "This doesn't seem to work here, please try a different page..." remains.
