With Keyboard Shortcuts for Websites, you can define custom keyboard shortcuts for certain actions of websites you use frequently.
You can also export your custom shortcuts and share them with your friends or your teammates.
Version 1.7
- Name changed from "In-site Shortkeys" to "Keyboard Shortcuts for Websites"
- Script shortcuts functionality removed
- Prevent on input focus option added for individual shortcuts too.
Notice:
- It works only on websites.
- Shortcuts would trigger just when the focus is on the site itself.
- You need to trigger shortcuts on which page you define otherwise it will not find the target elements of its steps.
- You can't override some browser-reserved keyboard shortcuts.
- Because of new policies, it's impossible to inject Javascript codes and run it on a website, so I decided to remove the functionality of adding shortcuts for executing scripts that was available on the previous version.
- The name of the extension changed from "In-site Shortcuts" to "Keyboard Shortcuts for Websites" since v1.7
Because of the special event handling in some sites, This extension may not work properly, but we will continue to improve features and fix bugs.

- (2024-08-27) Brie Koyanagi: Simply does not work tried this extension with Chrome, Vivaldi browsers and I only get the red pop up error: "Step calling failed because the element was not found. Maybe you are on the wrong page." Always. I really wanted this to work. I think Im using this wrong. There are no directions/instruction on how to use this.

Great work guys!! 👏👏Just had an inconvenience after i assigned the shortcuts, whenever i press any shortcut it works, but a red notification comes saying, "step calling failed because the element was not found." It's a bit distracting, please help me fix this problem or either add an option to temporarily disable the notifications.

- (2022-03-13) fact tact ask: this is very useful extensoin i very very liked it ......i found one problem is that when i type in omnibox or search box it react on that time also but i want to typing at that time i have to disable the extension then i type .... this is very time taking .. for exemple i type i set "g" for a clicking botton in a website but when i need to type g in search box in that website. it act as trigger .... if you can condition on it when someone search box active the it will not react ......it will very very helpful really .........
