Freighter is a non-custodial wallet extension that enables you to sign Stellar transactions via your browser.
It's a safer alternative to copying and pasting private keys for use with Stellar-powered web applications. Please note:
* You store, control, and manage your own keys in your browser.
* We do not store your private keys or account backup phrase. If you lose your key or backup phrase, you will permanently lose access to your account.

- (2022-02-22) Michael Gilbert: I love the simplicity of Freighter but not so keen on never seeing or knowing my secret key, that makes it a risk as if you get locked out or love your seed phrase you are screwed. I have just installed this on the BRAVE browser and only 1 of my 3 accounts transferred over, have not worked out how to transfer or access the others which means I'm going to have to keep my chrome one open too which is far from ideal. Can someone from the development team advise how I can get my two other freighter accounts visible on the brave browser please. my contact details are [email protected].

- (2021-08-06) David Dombrowsky: This thing would be _awesome_ except I do not see any way of opening it in a new tab or otherwise making the window persistent. Without this, it means I need to both KNOW and TYPE IN my password to the little google chrome window. If I switch over to my password manager, the window goes away and I cannot get it back. This makes importing other private keys IMPOSSIBLE.
- (2021-06-08) Daniel Treccia: The newest version 1.1.2 allowed me to use LITEMINT Beta to bid on NFT's at litemint.com with ease from the browser extension. I use LOBSTR and LOBSTR | Vault for the majority of my transactions but the LITEMINT NFT marketplace doesn't allow those apps to successfully place bids yet. It probably has to do with the IPFS Hash included with LITEMINT's NFT marketplace - which gives one a good idea where Stellar Network is expanding to and bridging next =P Rabat.io already interacts with Web3 but also performs all Stellar Network operations from their chrome extension and the IPFS is basically how NFT's are store that are offered on "Ethereum" - how exciting the future will be. I am thankful for the access to these tools.
- (2020-12-20) croissantty: look nice and easy to understand but I prefer to know secret key and keep it with myself too. I know concept is similiar to metamask but metamask have option to show secret key. so I think this will be better to have an option like that too.
