- (2023-09-09) CISAC: It works fantastically on YouTube but against their claims, it does not currently work on Prime Video, which is what I need. There is no icon to click on like on YouTube and neither the button or the keyboard shortcut for translating work. Please fix it and I'll rate 5 stars!

- (2023-07-06) Su funcionalidad se mezcla con la de los subtítulos automáticos de cualquier página de videos, a veces no salen los subtítulos y tengo que activar los subtítulos automáticos del video de la página para que la extensión vuelva a funcionar, lo que hace se desconfigure el tamaño de las letras, a veces tengo que recargar la página para que se vean los subtítulos y a veces el menú no aparece al darle clic en el ícono morado, todo sin contar que no detecta para nada bien la voz, transcribe puras incoherencias

- (2023-05-11) Miguel Lescano: Really useful! It only has a few bugs (or maybe quirks) 1) The quick view shortcuts in the tool tips are given as "W" and "T", but they're actually "V" and "B". 2) On Netflix, Auto pause mode pauses after the subtitles have already disappeared, so you end up not being able to read anything. Also, "S" does not replay the current subtitle; it only rewinds it; you need to press Space for it to play. Same goes for "A" and "D". 3) On Udemy, GlotDojo disables Udemy's native speed control shortcuts, and Udemy's speed control only works until you pause and unpause. So if you have GlotDojo active on Udemy then you have no usable shortcuts for permanent speed control. Not a big deal, really, and I actually like that it resets the speed. 4) On Udemy, the transparent black box behind subtitles uses a lot more width than needed. Again, no big deal. I'm a language teacher currently creating an Udemy course, and subtitles are a big part of it. So I'll be more than happy to help beta test GlotDojo with Udemy.

- (2022-10-28) flo rine: The extension is very useful, there is nothing to say about it. Just a problem that I encounter a lot of times: It sometimes does not work on Viki. Even refreshing the page, deactivating and reactivating the extension again, it does not change the problem. Then it will start walking again maybe 2-3 hours later... A solution?
- (2022-10-26) Matthew Kowal: Will it replace the official Google translate app? Maybe. This implementation has incredible potential and might help people (and me) attain fluency quickly. But there is some issues with the interface. The interface is much better on mobile. I found the hovering feature is click/hotkey feature to be very useful. I liked the inclusion of the Microsoft and IPA phonetic (currently disabled for me, but giving the benefit of doubt) but the advanced translation panel still needs to be manually clicked every time even when adjusted there are three setting panes in this app making it an unorganized mess when they should be accessible from one menu. All the video options should be in the same settings where the Integrated Video Sites is located, adjusting from the video directly feels clumsy and the pane can't be pinned or moved around. It feels like it took code from somewhere else or is written by multiple people Not sure if it is functioning on youtube as expected. I am also not sure where to find the wordlists on the Chrome extension and not sure if the sync is functioning as expected. My wordbook on mobile can be found with one tap. The web panel It is still under construction and unusable and I am very tired so I will wait to give it a full well written review and test. I am excited to see the continued development of this app and will update later with a review after testing everything and after using it regularly for a bit One useful thing you could add that would make this app stand out is the ability to tap into the Chrome Live Caption function which works on videos on YouTube and other sites that don't have Closed Captioning yet and on livestreams like my local government and Twitter.

I changed the language like 10x EVERYWHERE so it translates to my native language and still it translates the text to my countries language which is a different language. Uninstalled, reinstalled to make sure it's not a bug, still nothing. Made a different profile, still nothing. It's a pity because the app is ok nonetheless. Maybe I'm stupid and missing something, but this should be intuitive and working with no effort.
