• (2021-08-22) Maxi Cardozo: For configuring which file extensions you would like to block, create the keys if you don't have them in "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome\3rdparty\extensions\kippogcnigegkjidkpfpaeimabcoboak\policy" and use a String named "Config" to tweak its JSON configuration settings. It worked very well for me. I would suggest making an additional filter that would block any file (regardless of extension) containing a pattern (like every single file with the name *chrome* somewhere in its name) Otherwise excellent job.

  Hey Josh, I wanted to block all .apk downloads except from apkpure.com, I tried using this code: {"rules":[{"bannedExtensions":["apk"],"origin":"any","exceptions":[{"type":"hostname","value":"apkpure.com"}]}]} And this code: {"rules":[{"bannedExtensions":["apk"],"origin":"any","exceptions":[{"type":"hostname","value":["apkpure.com"]}],"action":"block"}]} The exception for apkpure.com is not workjng for me. It either blocks all .apk downloads or allows all .apk downloads on every website. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks
