Not sure is possible to customize groupings (e.g. so that you could use the default 'auto-group' or this with specified 'overrides' where certain domains etc. could be grouped together - but this might overcomplicate matters in any case... so giving it 5 done.
• (2021-08-31) yiwen wei: I love this extension but I would like to suggest: 1. the group name is too long and make the tab name impossible to read Let's get rid of the usless ".com" 2. the group with only 1 tab shouldn't be grouped at all. 3. when activate a tab, the selected group should extended automatically and the active tab should be hightlighted automatically as native. 4. When create a tab which matches the group domain name, it should be grouped automatically.

• (2021-05-08) Han Solo: Such a very useful extension ! Does wonders with a simple shortcut (has to be define by the user) or a click on the extension's icon. Grouped tabs are auto-organized by color, can be expanded or collapsed with just a click. This is not just an extension. It's a game changer when using Chrome. Thanks a lot ! Ulrich Winkler, for the time spent coding Auto Group Tabs and for having the kindness of sharing it. Only CONS in my opinion : I use all the time Ctrl+Tab, Ctrl+Shift+Tab to move inside Tabs and now those shortcuts work only on expanded tabs. They won't take you to the collapsed groups. Which can be useful but it would definitely be nice if we had the option to choose whether we want those shortcuts to behave as if there were no grouped tabs.

• (2021-03-18) Oleksandr Popov: Hi. I installed this extension (Version 0.0.4) on Windows 10, then pressed "Ctrl+Shift+Y" and it didn't work. After that i open chrome://extensions/shortcuts and saw that binding is empty. So I change binding and after that this extension is work. But it first extension that i configure by this way and this point it's not typical for use as for me. I understand that it good and smart to work with this extension by shortcut, but can you add additional handler to run you extension by click on icon with this extension on toolbar? Maybe it will be another way to work with this extension when other users it's not found solution to change binding.

  It would be amazing if you could add a feature where we can right click on the group tab and copy all the links within that group. Would push this plugin to the next level :) Thank you for making this i use it daily. Its super useful.

  I use to work on AWS which has a lot of services with subdomains xxxxx.aws.com, yyy.aws.com, is it possible to take in consideration even the subdomains to group tabs. Cheers

  A "toggle tabs"-Button would be fantastic. So I have only press this button to toggle my groups - better than press a shortcut.
