Easy To Use:
1.) Just go to Facebook.com on your desktop
2.) Find the Video you want to download.
3.) Click the Video into its own page then refresh screen.
4.) Click on the extension if the download button does not show up after refreshing your screen
5.) Press the download button in the right corner of every video.
6.) Save as MP4 in HD or SD quality.

*We recommend not trying to download any videos via the extension that are over 30 minutes long as it takes forever to process from Facebooks servers. It would be better to download long videos from our website like I mention where to find that below!

- The app is working fine for downloading facebook videos. But why would you change the search engine to "ecsmartfinder.com"? If you change the search-engine back, it will deactivate the "Video Downloader for FB"..... such a pity....

- The extension itself worked for me, I was able to download a gogglebox clip to show my mum. BUT, it also changed the search engine to ecssmartfinder without permission and also set the default search to bing. Even when I selected the "Change it back" after the change, it still defaulted to Bing. If this happens to you, right click the address/search bar and choose Manage search engines, then remove bing/ecssmartfinder. Why? Why ruin a decent plugin by adding deceptive things like that?

- Works for SD video. However, this extension is a malware as it alters webpages and even go as far to change search engine to "ecsmartfinder.com"

- Check the permission list before downloading!!! It will switch your search engine. In my case, instead of using Google, Bing started popping up. I hate Bing :/ Which led to a very a very fast removal of the only extension I've installed in the last 15 minutes. As listed in the Chrome extension library: Permissions -Change your search settings to: ecsmartfinder.com -Manage your downloads The 2nd setting makes complete sense... The first one however, is an immediate privacy violation

- Like other video downloaders I've tried, it is not working with Facebook. I've installed (easy & successfully), closed & restarted Chrome. Reloaded the page with the video comment, pinned & clicked on the extension icon... all to no effect. No download buttons or anything. It seems to be working for most reviewers so I don't know why I'm having no luck at all with it.
