Send to Google Tasks is a chrome extension that performs one simple thing: it send the page or link from your chrome browser to Google Tasks.

- (2023-04-26) Keita Abe: So far, I find this extension to be quite useful. It enables me to easily save articles that I want to read later to Google Tasks. One suggestion I have is to incorporate a feature that changes the button's color or appearance after adding a page to Google Tasks. Currently, there is no visual indication of whether the page has been successfully added, and it would be helpful to have some feedback for confirmation.

Is there any way to set a default date? For me, I don't like to have a list of tasks without dates. With a date for a task I can easily move it around my calendar. I was doing this currently with a Zapier integration but your solution is much more elegant. - (2023-05-19, v:1.5) Sampo Juustila: Icon poor with dark theme
The icon works very poorly in dark mode, as it's a black icon on dark-gray background. This is a great extension. Thank you for developing it. I am frequently uncertain if the send actually worked and have to open Google Tasks to see if the task actually arrived in the Tasks Inbox. I tried installing the extension in Microsoft Edge and on selecting Send To Google Tasks from right click popup menu, nothing happens. I am not even asked to log in to Google account.
