Now you can download videos from vimeo.com in a single click | Can also download embedded video
Downloader for Vimeo adds "download" button to video page, video list or embedded video. Click "download" button and select quality of the video you are gong to download.
Done.
How it works:
Video from vimeo.com (if it is available):
On vimeo.com main page point cursor to video thumbnail and in upper left corner "download" button will appear (arrow pointing downwards). After clicking this button select desired option (see screenshots on Web Store page).
Embed Vimeo video:
You can download videos directly from embed Vimeo players on any website.
On vimeo.com main page point cursor to video thumbnail and in upper left corner "download" button will appear (arrow pointing downwards). After clicking this button select desired option (see screenshots on Web Store page).
If "download" button didn't appear (the reason could be a website-specific individual method of Vimeo video embedding) - start playing the video and after that "download" button appears and downloading becomes available for downloading.
Download using popup icon:
Available for downloading Vimeo video files are shown after clicking popup icon of the extension.
Number shown on popup icon of the extension corresponds to q-ty of video available for downloading on page.
Please note: we just upgrade your browser with download buttons and if video is not available in desired quality, it's not our fault.
The video is available in poor quality: Usually low quality occurs when author initially uploads video with low quality.

- Doesn't work on embedded (protected/paid) content. It likely works for simple vimeo videos where you can simply view the video on the vimeo website or see a .mp4 link in the code, but not for the content I'm trying to grab. The play and download buttons show ERROR after clicking on of them. Have emailed s/w dev to see if they can modify to support this content.

- The December '21 release wouldn't allow for me to download vimeo videos from a vimeo playlist. I wrote the author and promptly revised the code to incorporate this ability, then released it to chrome store. What a boss! It now does just what I need it to - amazing!

- На сайтах aliexpress.com и iherb.com внезапно появились редиректы на сайт stvkr.com. По-очереди удалял расширения и при удалении данного расширения, редирект перестал присутствовать. Поэтому очень большая вероятность, что в данном расширении присутствует вредоносный код!
