CamFlip creates a virtual webcam in your browser which is mirrored horizontally. This is useful for video chat applications because others in the video chat receive the mirrored version instead of the original from your webcam.

Shalini Barai 2024-05-10: what it basically does is flips your video for the viewer as well as for you ,so suppose u can see your video as VMX ,so it will show the other person as VMX but it will show you as XMV.

CUYOS, JANINE D. 2022-02-10: I recommend this extensiooonnn!!!! It actually flips your camera not only on your end but also on the other participants. I've been trying so many many extensions however some of em doesn't work and most of all only works on your camera. I love this!

layeal lol 2021-07-26: everytime i go on omegle and i use this extension it works very well and flips my webcam to left from right but one thing it messes up for me is my audio usually i sound to people when i use this extension

I'm hoping that this extension will be available in Firefox very soon as I've only recently begun using that web browser for my online class :)))

Doug Eaton 2021-05-26: We've been trying to use the IPEVO mirror-cam so teachers can monitor students' hand-work in Google Meet calls. This app works GREAT as long as the student is using their camera. HOWEVER, when the student shares his/her screen to the Meet call...oops! This extension flips the image. The work around is to disable the extension, but it is confusing. It would be better if the extension flipped only the camera image and not the screen share.

Samuel 2021-02-17: It works the way it's supposed to but I do have one problem, my laptop has a light near the camera that turns on when the camera is on, the problem is that when I use this extension even when my camera is closed the light is on but when I turn off the extension and turn off my camera, the light is off. I might stop using this extension because I'm having headaches because the light is always on on my meetings
