• (2023-10-10) Luis Gonzalez: This app might work but I signed up for the subscription and after 5 days I didn't get a license nor even a reply from the author or support. Definitely avoid it if you don't want to run into the hassle of raising a claim with your card provider to get the money back. My time is definitely worth more than $5 but I hate when "companies" use gimmicks to get the hard earned money from people I've also reported this app in Chrome store

I like that I can hide areas in different chrome windows and I can toggle between those windows and the areas stays hidden, this is awesome. I would have liked if it could hide the web address at the top also, but at the moment that cant be hidden or maybe I do not know how? But, other than that its all good. Thank you...

This extension made my presentation webinar work waaaaay easier, I always have to showcase the product by inspecting sesntivie documents with tons of pages, so before I had to prepare fake docs and put them in db or edite the video after. If you're trying to walk someone through a process where personal information is going to be shown in a screen share (ie. tutorial of how to access your online bank statements), you can only blur one screen at a time in realtime. The result is that you either have to spend hours video editing to cobble the tutorial together piece by piece or share your personal data with everyone. The "Keep Blur" feature does not work at all. Don't waste your money buying this terrible extension EDIT: It took nearly 2 years, but I received a response from the developer. Their response below shows more concern about poor reviews than about customer issues (apparently it was my fault the "Keep Blur" function doesn't work?) ⬇️ First of adam i do not check the reviews that often but i never miss a single gmail, before sharing this did you send a email? i am sorry for the inconvenience but i want to help you with this first thing first, keep blur feature works all you gotta do is click on the keep blur first and then blur stuff out if any trouble let me know i will make a video and please delete this review, i am 22 years old building marketing and a single review can affect my livelihood

BlurWeb was a small investment that has streamlined my process in screensharing and reduced time in video post-production. For anyone down-rating the app because it isn't free... This is a business tool. Anyone who is getting paid for videos knows the pain of figuring out how to hide sensitive information. This tool saves time, and time is money. If you're not willing to invest in your business, great. Don't burn a creator who understands the value of what they've created. Also, as Sanskar mentioned in other reviews, he'll give you a code for a 7-day free trial if you email him at [email protected]. Or check if the app is still posted on AppSumo, which has a strong/easy refund policy. The bonus is that you'll see very detailed reviews by a hecka lot of Sumolings who are passionate about the value of this app.

• (2021-09-27) Aizat Hawari: There are times where I just can't be bothered to blur some parts of my website post recording, and Blurweb does it for me where I can prepare what element to blur and it's blurred, and won't be seen inside my videos or screen recording, or even live screen share. It feels like wizardry but it works! For the price you can't go wrong, its really affordable and for what its worth, don't think just buy it. I use Firefox dev edition and Chromium based browser- Edge (surprise! It's quite good), and the extension works on both.
• (2021-09-17) Prabdeep Mann: My use case is that i am teaching so when I am recording the sessions I have to blur out sensitive data in post-production, this saves me a lot of time. I like the fact that you can either chose to blur our sections or automatically autoselect sections to select portion of the screen. Nice touch is that you can save the blur sections of the browser so if you can page and navigate back on the browser, Blurweb App will remember where it is. Interface is super easy to use, with selecting the ticket to apply changes and del to delete the changes. Does what is says! Thanks Blurweb App

I used to have to take a screenshot of the site I was working on with data, open Paint.net, blur the part of the screengrab I needed to send to someone else, save and then send. Not too bad you might say but a bit annoying. Now that's not the big magic trick, it's live - what that means is that any content on a webpage that you take a video of or screenshare is blurred in real-time automatically! This is a gamechanger! Imagine being able to demo a payment happy path with a real payment card where you blur the payment details from anyone you're demonstrating to but prove the process works! For the one-off price this is an absolute bargain, and there has been a lot of updates since I first purchased it - non of this take the money and run, the author is continuing to delight his customers! Buy it, you won't be sorry.
