The Login with Handshake extension lets you login to sites that have implemented Handshake login without the need for passwords. 81% of all hacking-related breaches leverage stolen or weak passwords. You don’t have to be a part of this statistic.
Simply download the extension, click the “Login with Handshake” button, and choose which domain of yours you’d like to use to login.
What is Handshake?
Handshake is a decentralized, community-run blockchain built to dismantle ICANN’s monopoly on top level domains. It allows anyone to purchase their own TLD (.com, .org, .net, are all TLDs) that can be used for any number of actions from hosting websites to identification online as the blockchain functions as a protocol that any application can interact with.
Because Handshake domains can cryptographically, and trustlessly, guarantee that individuals own the domains they claim to own, sites can build your user profile around the artifact you own: your domain.
That means that should anything happen to you on one platform, you will still be able to use that same domain on any other platform.

How it works:
The extension generates a unique pair of keys for each of your domains (entirely separate from ownership keys), and stores them on your Google Chrome account. When the extension detects a site requesting a Handshake login, it prompts the user to select one of their identities to move through the authentication process.
