Multi-column view for WorkFlowy

Image from store WorkFlowy MultiFlow
Description from store WorkFlowy MultiFlow adds a multi-column view to WorkFlowy, which enables you to maintain an overview of, or relationship between, several WorkFlowy documents at once. It can also make moving data within large lists easier, as you can open a new column and cut and paste between columns, rather than scrolling up and down or collapsing and uncollapsing bullets (note that MultiFlow does not – and cannot – support drag and drop between frames). Columns are opened by Cmd/Ctrl+Clicking on: - Bullets - Internal WorkFlowy links - Breadcrumb items - Left navigation items You can open as many columns as you need, change layouts, save and load sessions. See the home page for more info.

  • (2023-10-29) Erwin Susara: Been using Workflowy since 2012 and this is the best extension ever! Will not be happy if this goes away.
  • (2023-10-11) David Goggin: Extremely helpful - especially the ability to Ctrl-Click left pane to open corresponding bullet in the right pane - way useful!
  • (2023-08-27) E KG: Thank you so much for creating this! It makes updating info so much easier!
  • (2023-08-08) Zarrar Shehzad: It didn't work for me initially like others on chrome but after I clicked on extensions and clicked on the extension to give access, then it worked great.
  • (2023-05-07) G.M.R: Doesn't work on mac with chrome. I cmd+click and it opens on a new window. Amazing idea (which is why I gave it 2 stars), but needs an update.
  • (2023-03-03) Cameron Peterson: I rated 5 stars because I love the idea, except I can't get it to work on chrome for PC. Am I missing something? The video says command click, which I tried ctrl+ click on PC from a node it opens in a new window, and if I ctrl+click on a header nothing happens. Would love to use this. I wish wish wish that Workflowy would just implement this on their own.
  • (2022-10-17) Jorge Aguilar Reynaga: Great extension! Calling the Workflowy team from a paying customer: Makes sense to implement this natively; it is a superb but simple improvement, it seems.
  • (2022-10-15) Peter: Like it so much! I am using Chrome, the one problem I encountered is the browser can only add one column, it won't add more. when you click the link, it simply replaces the second column.
  • (2022-08-11) 黒田潤: Awesome!
  • (2022-07-20) Jacek Ostrowski: Excellent companion to WF. Love it. Future improvement request - I wish it would work in tandem with chrome extensions that inject cusstom CSS or JS ( eg "User CSS" or "Shortkeys" )
  • (2022-07-14) Kevin Pickman: Simply fantastic! I don't think I can ever use Workflowy again without it. Thank you so much for creating this game-changing extension.
  • (2022-07-01) Michael Hayes: Really handy, definitely helped me be more productive in Workflowy, but a little clunky to get started. I've posted some feedback in the Reddit thread, hopefully it will be even better soon :)
  • (2022-02-24) B V: Brilliant. One of the biggest challenges with all outlining tools is the monolithic single column of text. So many ways to use this, yet simple and elegant in execution.
  • (2022-02-07) Kristian Voss Bjerre: Are you going to include dragging and dropping nodes from one "window" to the other? That would really set this apart from "open as new tab"
  • (2022-01-12) Eleanor J Lee: I can't use WF without it anymore. Thank you!
  • (2021-10-26) Precious Hamilton-brown: I agree this is a gamechanger! Makes so much sense. I am finding it seems a bit inconsistent whether I can get it to work though. I have chrome open, as well as chrome workflowy app (save as shortcut). When I command click in the chrome windows, it sometimes just opens another tab. When I command click from the chrome workflowy app it opens the tab in the browser. Will definitely persist though as this is crazy helpful. Thank you!!
  • (2021-10-21) Zachary Kam: Wonderful! I was just opening new tabs to do this. Cuts out a ton of work! Thanks so much
  • (2021-09-21) 林煒清: useful
  • (2021-09-18) Martin Ma: Great work! Suggest to add a shortcut option to shift focus to other column.
  • (2021-06-07) Ken Walz: Love the idea but can't get it to work. When I go to WF settings, I don't see "More Tools" or "Create Shortcut". When I CMD-click on a WF item, Chrome opens a new tab.
  • (2021-03-16) Gene Rebell: Looks great! Unfortunately doesn't work in Edge at the moment. Simply seems to go the workflowy root page. Any chance for fix it?
  • (2021-03-04) Bob Hughes: This is a brilliant enhancement to WorkFlowy! I noticed that MultiFlow version 1.4 works at the URL https://workflowy.com but not https://www.workflowy.com. Dave, thanks so much for creating this extension!
  • (2021-03-01) Alexander Aldrich: GAME CHANGER! Thank you. Also, you should join the WorkFlowy User Group on Slack if you aren't there already.
  • (2021-03-01) Paul Drury: Five stars!
  • (2021-02-28) Miguel Serra: Amazing idea, seriously!!! Unfortunately it doesn't work while using WF as a Chrome App in a separate window =/
  • (2021-02-23) Waseem Hussain: I'm getting the "workflowy refused to connect" page but hopefully this is fixed in the next release. Otherwise, this is going to be a game changer for my work flow. Amazing stuff, thank you.
  • (2021-02-07) 犬子猫: I love this program! Solved my pain point! Just sometimes the function is not work and I hope to optimize it later.
