Zoom in on a specific part of the website, like you would with a touchpad gesture!

Description from store
Mouse Pinch-To-Zoom allows you to zoom in and out on a website without making everything huge and unreadable!
It works like a pinch-to-zoom gesture on a touchpad or a touchscreen, but all you need is a mouse wheel.
The extension offers four activation modes:
• Zoom by turning the mouse wheel while holding the Alt or Ctrl key
• Zoom by turning the mouse wheel while holding the left or right mouse button
You can also customize the speed and smoothness. All the settings are easily accessible by clicking on the extension logo.
If you experience any issues, please feel free to email me with a bug report.

- (2025-06-14) Nasim Reza: I was actually considering buying an external touchpad for my desktop PC to achieve what this extension does. I'm a big fan of zooming in on text to avoid straining my eyes, but the Ctrl + Plus shortcut always messes up the layout of the webpage and doesn't really help. I'm so glad I came across this extension in a Reddit post. Huge thanks to the developer!

- (2025-02-13) Hung Le: Great extension that does exactly what it claims to do. Very responsive dev. Also, does not collect analytics to sell your data. 10/10, with no room for improvement.
- (2025-02-12) Dan Rose: Update: it is now working again! thank you! This is probably my favorite extension. I use it everyday. As others are reporting its currently not working on the new version of Brave or Chrome. Please fix, thank you. Your efforts are very much appreciated.
- (2025-02-12) Shonay Hiralall: Not working at the moment. After new Chrome update. UPDATE: The developer has been in constant contact to help try to fix the extension. This is the type of service I appreciate and can respect. Dev has also managed to fix the issue, hence I have upgraded my rating to a full 5 stars. Thank you for your service.

- (2024-12-15) Vioco: Doesn't allow for unzooming zoom from trackpad with your mouse. Glitches page elements.
- (2024-12-09) Gracie Ceja: Very good with good customization settings (such as how fast to zoom in or out and which button to press along with the mouse scroll to zoom). However, it doesn't work on a Google Docs document when it is displayed in a certain way (when it says "Published using Google Docs" on the top of the screen). Edit: now it works on those documents as well.

- (2024-09-14) Heck Fy: Good extension. The only problem I've encountered so far was with chess.com site, where if an opponents piece moves while during a game (not in an analysis tab), the positioning is screwed with some CSS inset. As I understand this is side product of fixes for some other issues, so I disabled all the fixes, and chess.com now works without bugs with this extension.
- (2024-08-08) synaxx: Tested about 4 similar extensions which didn't have the functionality I was looking for before finding this. Super simple, does everything I need, no holding down mouse buttons or weird page scaling issues. Thanks for making an actually decent extension :3
- (2024-07-27) Mike Singer: Thank goodness i found this. thank you so much
- (2024-07-16) Simon Calabrese: This is great and should be the default zoom behaviour in browsers. I have one request: is it possible to add the functionality to move around the page while holding modifier+click and drag? That would make it perfect.

- (2024-03-24) João Carlos Santana: It's a great idea, but it's not useful once you realize it messes up with most websites formatting. In YouTube for example the player gets dislocated. Use SmoothZoom instead!
