Description from store RELOAD CANVAS AFTER INSTALLING NEW: Sync your Gradescope assignments directly to Tasks for Canvas! Ever had trouble finding your weekly assignments? Wish you had a nice progress bar to motivate you to complete everything? Then this extension is for you! The Tasks browser extension for Canvas™ updates the Canvas dashboard sidebar with a convenient todo list to show all of your weekly assignments and track your progress throughout the week. The sidebar includes: - A colorful chart with various rings color coded by course. As you complete your assignments throughout the week, the rings will show your progress! - A better to-do list of all active assignments that are counted in the rings. Each task item has the name, course, type, due date, point value, and link for the assignment. - A list of recent class announcements - The option to create custom task items - The option to filter assignments by course - The option to view rings and assignments from past and future weeks - The option to view completed or incomplete assignments -The option to manually mark assignments as complete This extension also contains an options page accessible from the sidebar where you can customize various aspects of the extension. (2023-10-11) Adam J: It works great, I recommend setting it to month so you can see how far along you are in your month of assignments. Also if you have 5 assignments do on monday, it will show those so when you open canvas it's not like they've been hiding from you.

But after getting it no matter what I do it doesn’t show my assignments the way I want. It keeps telling me I have 0 assignments for a class on the circles but under the circles it shows me that I have an assignment the I haven’t done. And it will tell me I've done 100% out of the 0 assignments I have due, how can I complete 100% of "zero" assignments.

It runs super smoothly, and I love that when you are in a class homepage it shows you just that class' tasks. 100/10, definitely recommend for any student who uses Canvas.

Instead of showing my normal 5 or 6 assignments for the week it now shows over 100 because it is counting every single assignment for my TA classes. It takes forever to load to because there are so many. Please make an option for us to be able to exclude certain courses or for the assignments that need grading to be hidden.

(2023-01-09) Bubba0318: Absolutely love this extension so far. The only thing I WISH the extension had was an option to input repeating tasks. For example, I have a class with worksheets due every Friday and having to create the same custom task every week for the next 5 months is tedious and feels repetitive. This by all means does not mean the extension is not good. It is amazing in my opinion; this is just something I found that would make the extension *that* much better.
(2022-12-11) Isabella Schulz: Managing my life stress and navigating life through the ADHD have both been all the more easier because of this extension. I've rarely appreciated something this small so much - but cannot reiterate how this has made tasks much more accessible for me. I have endless gratitude for reframing my to do list visually, as I can more quickly navigate and prioritise my to do list - and even make one on Canvas itself. This extension isn't just visually appealing and helpful (matching colors and changing view based on if you're in a class tab or no) but it has singlehandedly made my brain that craves affirmation so happy and successful.. because apparently the key to success is simple representation and confetti for me. 11/10, would rather use this than pet a puppy to manage my mental health (well, almost... if I’m being honest it's not that close but its the only thing at least that crosses my mind haha).

Hi, I thought this was an extension on to google classroom but that doesn't seem the case after reading some of the comments under the support button. Is there a website for this where I can use it? Hi there, The position of the sidebar is placed just a bit to the right from the center of my canvas page and partially covers the due date and points for an assignment. Is there anyway the sidebar can be pushed to the right side of the screen because there's an empty gap there.

Hi! Not sure if I'm just missing it but I can't find anywhere to delete a task I created, and the only reason I want to delete them is because everytime I click complete, it moves it back to unfinished as soon as the page reloads. Also, I assigned a course to the task but it unassigned all my tasks once the page reloaded and I can't find anywhere to edit that. Thanks!

Hi, I found this and I want to try it because my tasks are a mess. I have "Better Canvas", which is another extension but when I added this, I couldn't see anything.
