• (2024-03-20) Wil Fry: UPDATE: Down to 3 stars now, since it hasn't been updated for a while and Lichess has changed their code enough to make this extension unusable. Sad to see it go, because I really enjoyed it. ORIGINAL: I'm enjoying this extension, especially the option to customize page colors (including the arrows and square selection on game pages). The only downside for me is how the front page of the website is re-shaped by this extension. I wish there was a way to ignore that part of the extension. (For example, it makes the "tv" game very large, when I'd rather not see that module at all.)

It does not allow me to click and start the game. Basically it's useless if I can't play games. Please fix this and I'd totally use it, it looks amazing.

The one thing I'm suggesting is an enable button that can enable prettierlichess or turn it back to original theme. Another thing is the structure of the lobby page. Lichess puts the tv below, and the pairing system above. But betterlichess is different, also making the boxes a lot bigger. I hope this can be changed, or at least a setting to make this alternative.
• (2022-03-07) Astro_WH: This extension gives u the perm to edit everything, every theme, every color on lichess. This is insane.. but the one thing which changes it is the position of TV, queue board and streams are different on the main lobby page.

• (2021-12-29) Joshua Salisbury: Good extension. But there's one thing that stops me using it: it greatly limits the size of the board. In default Lichess, I can make it much bigger. Maybe this is a niche issue, as I use a 4k 32" monitor, but it'd be great if I could make the board as big as I'd like to by dragging it out more. It's just too small as it is.

Real pity as I hate the stock Lichess UI, but it's what I'm going to have to settle for, as I need to use the chat a lot of time. I've tried installing and re-installing the extension, but still no chat.

• (2021-04-17) M Tarek: i feel like decreasing the padding would make it literally perfect, as of now i have to use it on 60% page zoom to make it usable. one of lichess's problems is already big padding for the ui, that's why most people use lichess on 80% zoom, and this extension makes it even bigger. in conclusion decreasing the padding or at least giving an option in the pop up menu would be awesome

I tried it on chrome and on edge and nothing works so if the creator sees this I'm just hoping they can look into it. It could just be me? Great extension none the less 10/10

• (2021-04-10) Rafael Oliveira: Looks good but in portuguese there is a problem. the word "puzzles" in portuguese is "quebra-cabeça" so when you install the extension the layout doesnt work and the word get over the board becuse its a big word. when you try to click the piece in the board you accidentaly click in the puzzle. please fix that thanks. Edit: Yep its fixed! Nice work! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This extension does exactly what it's designed to do. Show Lichess as a beautiful website that belongs in 2021, and mirror the amazing and beautiful functionalities of the site with a wonderful presentation. The author of this extension put in hard work and shows admirable skill to make this and the result is absolutely astonishing. I am extremely grateful to the author, and I am extremely glad people like him/ her are a part of the wonderful community that lies within Lichess.

Chat font is white, but the moves box font color is greyish which makes the writing hard to distinguish with almost any background color.

  I'm not sure if this is just for me but it seems that I cannot change the colour of anything on the extension unless I import or export saves. I have tried to fix it by using it on both chrome and edge but nothing works. It has been like this since yesterday so if you could fix this that would be great. Thanks
