⚠️⚠️⚠️ Doesn't work anymore - no longer maintained since I switched to Kagi. ⚠️⚠️⚠️

This extension removes the annoying "People also search for" box that pops up in Google Search and causes layout shift after a navigation.

NOTE: As Google serves variations of the layout of the search results page to different users, this extension might not work for a small amount of users. If you are able to fix this in your version, please submit a pull request to improve this extension for others.

Joe P. 2024-03-23: Been searching for a solution. Finally an extension that works perfect to get rid of that annoying box. Once installed, you either have to refresh your current tab or open a new tab and it will work.

Rene Ae 2023-01-04: it still works. thank you. i had been previously hiding that box using a ublock filter, but sometimes i need to disable ublock, so the box would pop up when it was disabled. its nice just keeping this on all the time to always hide that USELESS feature.

Thanh ta C. 2021-09-11: Whoever at Google thought this was a good idea should be fired. They know nothing about good UI UX. People always accidentally click on these slow moving frames post-loading results all the time and it's infuriating. There's no reason why that animation should be so slow too, it adds nothing to the search experience.

You go back to see results, go to click one and BOOM the interface moves. Maybe you're wrong to search for what you want: instead search for one of these. Imagine, a search engine instead of giving you want you want just rewrites the user to search for something else! Thank you for this add on to fix this awful 'feature'.

However, seeing wars being fought for no apparent reason, religions being hateful towards people with other beliefs and lifestyle, capitalism prioritizing a few dollars for the executives than the well-being of their employees I am not so sure about that anymore. Then I found this extension. An extension that attacks a small implementation that roots from a big problem of capitalistic greediness from the companies. Thank you Mr Orlita, you have given me hope that we can once again do good just for the sake of doing good without any ulterior motive. I salute you!
