• (2023-10-20) Nils Lindemann: It is the best of all I have tested. Very intuitive to use. On Linux(?), currently exporting as JSON works, but importing that JSON does not work. This is due to a bug in Chrome, which causes the add-on pop-up to close, when the file dialog gets opened: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1095361 https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1027558 The workaround is currently to open this dialog in a tab, then one can import the JSON: chrome-extension://nplimhmoanghlebhdiboeellhgmgommi/popup.html Thanks a ton to the responsive developer, who figured this all out and also implemented other fixes for version 1.0.9, when I had contact with him via mail. 👍

• (2023-10-09) T yx (X): 好用，自动分组希望能添加排除条件的选项，比如我设定了包含XX域名的，然后再设定排除标题包含XX内容的，这样可以自动分组某个域名到一个分组，但排除掉标题中包含XX内容的。 应用场景：通过某个分类众多的学习网站进行学习，设定域名分组，可以把该网站下的页面全部归类到一个文件夹，排除标题包含XX的。XX是该学习网站众多分类中的一个小分类学习内容，这部分内容我可以设定另外一个自动分组的规则，只要标题包含XX的全部归类到另一个XX文件夹，而不是自动归类到第一条学习网站的分组规则中。
• (2023-09-29) James Chance: Bad behaviours : No drag & drop at all... Obscure "rules"... ... and more annoying : NO sync. between the modified groups and the "snapshot" :-/ -> If you open a group and then, add or delete some tabs in it, the stored group in the extension is NOT sync ! When you close the modified group, you have to manually take a new snapshot (or you loose your modifications !) What's the use ?? Chrome at least, keeps your modifications if you allow "Tab Groups Save" in chrome://flags/ !

• (2023-09-27) Charly S: Absolutely essential! Tab grouping rules are something that should be native, so important it is, same with saving groups. I'd love if it would sync across devices but it's not the world's end. What probably would be a good idea is to be able to "reorder grouping rules", and that they're processed in order (don't know how that works). Example: I have example.com in a generic group (which I'd drag to the bottom) and above, and first processed a rule to add example.com/api to the API group. Ideal when you have multiple projects in a domain. Thanks!!

• (2023-08-26) Jakub Lański: Please add a way to reorder grouping rules. When you have overlapping grouping rules, their order is crucial to determine the final tab group, but when you can't reorder them - applying any changes to the configuration is a pain as you need to delete and recreate all the rules from scratch. As a workaround - you can export settings in JSON, modify rule IDs, so they represent the order you would like to achieve (e.g. "rule-1", "rule-2" etc.), and import them back.

Sometimes I need to view some tabs separately, If there is any event on the page, the auto-grouping feature will regroup the tabs that I have separated back into the group. It would be nice to be able to temporarily disable this extension.

Allow "default group" rule where no other rule applies. c. allow auto-sorting group tabs based on url/title/regex-match (for example - groups holding lots of jira tickets)

But saving a group adds it everytime to the overview of saved groups, so the sam group is listed several times, it is like a versioning (which could be helpful if you add the saving date) But it would be really great to have a override option, so it keeps just the last version in the overview of saved groups :-)

The Chrome's Tab groups suffered this from the very beginning — the tool that's aimed to reduce tab clutter lacks of effective management for itself; you had bunch of tabs, now you have bunch of tabs groups — what a "relief" considering that you even can't have all of them listed in a single place.

• (2023-07-09) Clay Masilek: Please add an option to disregard PWAs when using auto group.. I use a ton of PWAs so whenever I click links or a page auto forwards it will close the PWA and move the tab into a group in Edge.

• (2023-06-22) Tim Ervin: My main complaint is that I wish there were a setting to ignore progressive web apps (PWAs)—i.e. when you save a "shortcut" to a site in Chrome so it opens in a separate window. I have different use cases for targeted and exploratory testing. I tried to circumvent it by adding a custom (fake) query parameter to the URL of my Chrome PWA ('?pwa=1'), but clicking on any link causes another regex rule I have to catch it.

Does precisely what I needed; allow me to save tab groups with collected links for a topic that I may want to restore in the future without crowding my day-to-day Chrome tabs. Very clean interface and so far very performant. I have not played with the rules feature yet but something makes me think this too will come in handy. • (2023-05-05) Graeme-Rae Gillies: Hi, this extension looks great for enhancing Named Tab Groups in and across multiple Chrome Windows. If it could also save an entire Chrome Window's content of multiple Tabs and multiple Tab Groups with one-click, e.g. as a Saved Window using the user pre-configured Window Name, and enable Export/Import of all Saved Windows in one exported file, then you'd have a killer extension! This would resolve issues I've encountered with other extensions that save a Chrome Window's tab content but not the Tab Groups (names and tab content within).
