• (2024-08-24) Marius van Voorden: Workaround for the bug for people who are comfortable tinkering: - Find the extension folder in your chrome extensions on your hard drive - Edit "content.js", comment out the two lines that catch the play and pause event; we don't want the extension to meddle with those. It's these, just put two slashes in front of each: navigator.mediaSession.setActionHandler('play', function() {space(document)}); navigator.mediaSession.setActionHandler('pause', function() {space(document)}); - Save - Delete folder _metadata so chrome knows this is a modified extension, not a pure one - In chrome://extensions/, turn on developer mode - Click load unpacked extension - Navigate to the folder with the extension you modified, and select the "0.0.1_0" folder - Extension now works. Hopefully the dev just implements this fairly trivial fix instead!

• (2024-01-20) Jeremiah: Was working great till youtube decided to change some stuff around, I have fixed the issue and have sent the fix to the creator of this extension so hopefully creator will update soon.
• (2023-11-27) Alex: Since Youtube updated to show the adblock warning this extension hasn't worked correctly. It still skips ahead correctly but when you hit pause it speeds up 2X. Would love to see this fixed as this has become one of my most relied upon extensions (after uBlock Origin).

• (2023-10-04) Kristopher Yang: Amazing, exactly what I was looking for. My play/pause has always worked with YouTube, but never the back/forward. This lets me use the play/pause AND the forward/back while still having focus on another app. Great work - thanks!
