Scroller - Your Personalized Auto Scroll Chrome Extension
Are you a manga enthusiast, a news junkie, or a blog reader who finds it tedious to manually scroll through lengthy pages? Say hello to Scroller, a Google Chrome extension designed to enhance your reading experience by automating the scrolling process.
Getting Started:
1. Install the Scroller extension and pin it to your browser.
2. Click on the Scroller icon (next to the address bar) to access and save your preferred scrolling configuration.
3. To activate Scroller, right-click on the webpage, select "Scroller" from the dropdown menu, and choose either "Start Scroll" or "Stop Scroll."
4. If enabled, a double-click anywhere on the webpage will initiate the auto-scroll feature.
5. An option to select if the webpage should automatically scroll on the page load.
6. A single click on the webpage will temporarily pause the auto-scroll. To resume, simply scroll manually. To permanently stop, use the right-click menu.
Features:
Scroller offers two modes for a tailored scrolling experience:
1. Simple Mode: Adjust the scroll speed to your liking, choosing from slow, medium, or fast. The speed is customizable, with 1 being the fastest and higher values slowing the scroll speed.
2. Advanced Mode: This mode provides additional options:
- Scroll Percent: Define the percentage of the visible screen to scroll in each interval.
- Interval: Set the time gap (in seconds) between each scroll.
- Scroll Till: Specify an element on the page where scrolling should stop. Use the element picker button next to the input field to select the element on the current webpage. The element you're selecting will be highlighted in light blue. (Refer to the 3rd and 4th screenshots for more details).
Both modes allow you to enable or disable the "double click to scroll" feature per domain and support the "auto scroll to top" feature. If enabled, Scroller will automatically scroll the page to the top once the scrolling is completed.
Note:
Remember to save your configuration before using the "Scroll Till" option.
The configuration is stored per domain (e.g., www.example.com), not per individual webpage.

- (2024-11-15) Victor Agageche: The extension a quite good but it recently just started having issues. It doesn't scroll fast even when set to fast and in most pages it doesn't scroll at all.
- (2024-10-09) Tom DiBuono (LYHA): This extension does exactly what it says, allows you to auto scroll a page with various options... I tried many different extensions before finding this one, but worked right for what we wanted to do, this was the closest and easiest one to use that I could find. Devs are extremely responsive and updated the extension with a couple suggestions we requested which made the extension exactly what we needed. We are now using it for digital signage of our Youth Hockey Tournament Schedules within our rink which requires no user interaction once set up. We combined this extension along with another excellent extension I had found to auto refresh the page on a set schedule, and it all works perfectly how we had hoped.
- (2024-02-22) John Martin (Sciocore): Not great. But the only one I can find that actually works.
- (2023-11-21) Costa Liberta: pretty amazing. i researched it well, installed a few scrollers, including the popular ones, none of which delivered. this app offers one-click infinite scroll which can run uninteruptibly all the way, however far down that is. or until you stop it by clicking 'stop scrolling', or interact with something on the page. after that you just click to resume. works perfectly. of course, with all the options like speed etc. also. it doesn't stop if you 'help' it via the scroll bar, or a mouse scroll, quite impressive. there's a visible button to take you to the very bottom, for example in case the page has loaded faster but there's still more to go... it just continues scrolling minding its own business. this has worked great for me, i couldn't live without it. excellent. well done.
- (2023-11-02) z court: What a mess. Please add keyboard support. You can click page to stop, but not start. You have to use the context menu, drill down to the scroller tab and then click start. What about hotkeys? I mean...c'mon already.
