  • (2023-07-30) Bradford Smith: Thank you! Some recent update to ChromeOS beta has broken US International dead keys for Linux Apps. Hunting for a solution led me to find this extension. Now I can use the Esperanto keyboard layout, which is actually much more convenient for me anyway. I had already filed a ChromeOS feedback asking for them to please include that layout. This is great!
  • (2022-09-02) Wilhelm Eberhard: Thank you very much! There are lots of people who need special keyboard distributions not included in Chrome OS. Really thank you. This was absolutely needed.
  • (2022-08-26) Matthias Pfaller: Wunderfull. Getting rid of dead keys and being able to use compose like DECreed by our elders is such a reliev.
  • (2022-04-12) Berni Boern: For those who need the US International keyboard without dead keys (AltGr)

Hello, Thanks for this extension. I am having one issue which I would like to bring up. When I have the XKB layout "XKB's us(dvorak-intl) -- English (Dvorak, intl., with dead keys)" running on my Chromebook, using Ctrl-Z opens up a "Welcome to your Chromebook" pop-up page, when I want it to "undo." This occurs when writing a gmail email, in Google docs, and in the address bar in the Chrome browser for example. I don't know if anything can be done about it, but it does become annoying when using my preferred layout. Thanks. Sebastian Araan
