Description from store

This extension intercepts IDN URLs, i.e. URLs with non-ASCII characters, to protect the user from phishing domains that are very similar (homographs) to legit domains.

The extension relies on a server which returns the extension a list of domains together with the probibility of being confused by OCR with the resolved URL, and the probability of being fake (phishing)

if there is a best guess, i.e. a resulting domain with a high probabibility of being phishing, the extension marks it as phishing, else the extension can auto-redirect the user to the desired domain. In either case the user can review the output of the server process.
