Beep for Gmail is a tool that allows you record and send voice notes in Gmail.
Responding to emails can be pain…especially long ones. It’s hard to type everything you feel. So we procrastinate or worse, forget to respond. Thankfully, voice messages make this a whole lot easier.
🤔 Why voice messages?
Audio messages take the friendliness and ease of a phone call without the difficulty of scheduling a call and combines it with the speed of email without the drudgery of crafting the perfect response and tone. You can talk a lot faster than you can type!
⚙️ How it works?
1. Install the extension above.
2. Visit Gmail
3. Click the red microphone to the right of the send button to start recording.
That’s it. A link and image of a player will be inserted into the email and all you have to do is send that message to the recipient.

Beep makes this very easy to do from right within GMail - click to record, click to stop, click to embed and then send. Easy. It would be nice if the time limit was a bit more generous than 3 minutes. Other similar services are not as easy to use as Beep, although some offer unlimited recording time.

To me, it can lessen the likelihood of misunderstandings and can be quicker, more personal communication. Beep is simple to use, I've only had one message not process (twice though...grrr), and it's also a faster, more efficient way to communicate. I don't use it for every message but I enjoy using it. Give it a spin! You might like it.

Hi There, I installed the add on for email and when i initially went to create an email i could see the logo at the end to record a voice mail but its not there anymore. When i go to check that ive installed it, its giving me the option to "remove from chrome" so i am presuming it is there as an extension but i cant find it. Your help would be much appreciated.
