It's not easy to determine the color of the page element using Chrome dev tools. And you can't extract color from images on the page.

- (2021-12-02) Guy Boggan: It doesn't work as required, the area 'picked' does not align with the cursor, you have to guess somewhere on the screen about an inch off where you actually want to pick the colour. There are plenty of other colour pickers, don't waste your time with this one. Other little things also make this an annoying app, such as the fact when you click the extension it doesn't default to the colour grab (which is the only reason someone would click on their colour picker extension!) instead you have to select another button which took me a sec to work out as it's up in the corner, and even when you know about it this is a pointless step. Secondly, by default the extension allows itself access to all website data all the time, which it doesn't need nor shouldn't, it should be on clicking the extension ONLY. Lastly, the other reviews scream fake ones, with key words etc.

- (2021-06-11) Ember N: i installed 7 plugins just to choose the best colour picker as of right now. This one is ok but the Ultimate Color Picker is easier. With this you have to click a button to choose a colour instead of just clicking the extension and it should work already. This has only 9 slots, where as the other colour pickers can store 20+ colours. So basically you can't just click away. You need to click 4x to choose multiple colours. Sorry I got no time for that right now.
