Mit Free Video Downloader können Sie Videos in allen bekannten Formaten herunterladen: mp4, webm, mpeg, ogg usw. Mit der Erweiterung können Sie auch HTTP Live Streaming (HLS)-Videos herunterladen. HLS-Video wird auf Ihrem Computer in einer Datei mit der Erweiterung .ts gespeichert, die Sie später in jedem Mediaplayer anzeigen können. In der neuen Version hat die Erweiterung gelernt, MPEG-DASH-Streaming-Videos herunterzuladen und Audio und Video in einer Datei zusammenzuführen.
Die Erweiterung ist sehr einfach zu bedienen. Zuerst müssen Sie die Seite mit dem gewünschten Video öffnen und mit der Wiedergabe beginnen.
