• (2024-04-10) M H III: Garbage I put it on Microsoft edge and put $16 worth of solano in it. I was not able to buy transfer bridge or send the solano in the wallet. I spent 2 hours with coinbase customer service on the phone no help. The wallet even asigned me a name. I logged out nad the wallet disappeared. I have the recovery phase words and when I enter them nothing! I put the coinbase wallet on chrome and the wallet is gone not on it either with the same results. So if you download the coinbase wallet make sure you do a very small transaction first to see if it works. Beware!!

I have maintained loyalty to CoinBase simply because of my familiarity and the introduction to Crypto. As of recent months most websites are having connectivity issues with the wallet I use by CoinBase. More often I am seeing recommendations for alternate wallet's, I won't mention names because this is CoinBase domain. It is becoming tempting to change to this most recommended Crypto wallet. If CoinBase keeps being incompatible with sites I'll have to leave. Sorry CB

Glad I back things up but this is scary and unacceptable. Imagine you're in a bullmarket and you need to sell immediately & this app just starts failing on you. I'm just a little fish but stability means everything.

It has trouble setting a password when setting it up (I got an "JSON error" - something about an "unexpected whitespace character"- but my pw did not contain any unusual characters. After a few attempts, it got past this but then it doesn't open properly when unlocking it (it never opens, really; if you click it after entering the password, it just asks for it again). That makes it unusable. The only thing it's done is destroyed my confidence that Coinbase put this thing together properly.

I tried logout and log back in, deleted and re-installed the extension but no luck to me. Coinbase support site is joke as well. They may use AI to troubleshoot, but they use the stupidest AI or bot. I give up!

I have all the security features on and plus only had the wallet for only a couple of days. I did not see an unauthorize logins on any of my Coinbase accounts. This happened while purchasing ETH through the wallet. DO NOT USE if you want to keep you coins safe. Oh customer service for Coinbase were no help at all.

That shows their integrity and demonstrates a high standard for its most important people, its customer. Overall there are not enough stars to rate Coinbase, but I suppose I will settle with giving it an overall 5 stars, though deserving of at least 10 on a scale of 10. I highly recommend Coinbase to anyone looking into the crypto world for decision based wallets and information from the beginner to even the more advanced person involved. Coinbase, amazing company built by amazing people. Always beware of scammers and I recommend using the actual webpage rather than extensions as they are not nearly as secure as one might believe. Use your sense of mind and do some looking into homework before making any decisions based on what reviews say. If at least call Coinbase or talk to a professional market rep or broker if you have any doubts on anything regarding your finances. You would not sign your life to the devil, would you. I certainly hope not. Be smart. Think smart. Invest smart.
