Description from store With the extension, you can: 1️⃣ Select the default account for all Google Products. 2️⃣ Customize default accounts for each Google Product Separately. 3️⃣ Quickly switch between Google Accounts using the hotkey "Option (Alt) + {num}" (the shortcut is customizable). It's common for users to have multiple Google Accounts: several personal, several work- or client-related. And it's annoying to switch between them every time you receive a Google Meet link or open Gmail.com. With the Default Google Account, you can, for example, set up work accounts for Meet and Calendar, personal for Gmail and Maps, client for AdWords and Analytics. Save yourself precious time and frustration by using our extension. 🗃 Default Google Account is a fully open-source project under BSD 3-Clause License. What happens on your computer — stays on your computer. The extension is free to use. We'd appreciate it if you buy us a coffee (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/default) if you find the extension useful) ☕️ Any feedback or suggestions, please send to [email protected] Developed with ❤️, 🍕, and 🐈 at Uptech (https://uptech.team).

  • (2021-08-09) DOT: Thank you Thank you!!! This is saving me from having to sign out of all accounts just to change the default account. It also fixes the problem of not being able to access some Google services even if a user switches to their personal Google account, just because their default account is an organization account (e.g. school accounts) that blocks the user from using the said service.
  • (2021-08-09) Fiddler OnTheNet: This is exactly what I was looking for. Switching accounts every time I switched services was very tedious. This extension has worked perfectly so far. I did see on Stack Exchange that it was stated in June that you can "check the source code". Is this open source? If so, awesome! Where can I see the source code? Also, can you please add YouTube as a selectable service?

  • (2021-07-23, v:1.8) Deven T. Corzine: Google Workspace account-specific mail bookmarks broken
For the sake of this example, let's pretend this is the situation: 1. Logged into "[email protected]" as the first Google account. (/u/0) 2. Logged into "[email protected]" as the second Google account. (/u/1) 3. Logged into Google Workspace account "[email protected]" as the third Google account. (/u/2) 4. The "Default Google Account" addon is configured with "[email protected]" (/u/1) as the default for all Google services. Without the addon enabled, the following series of redirects works as intended, going to the mailbox for "[email protected]": https://mail.google.com/a/example.com/user/ -> https://mail.google.com/mail/u/2/user/ -> https://mail.google.com/mail/u/2/ With the addon enabled, I'm seeing this sequence instead: https://mail.google.com/a/example.com/user/ -> https://mail.google.com/a/example.com/user/?authuser=1 -> https://mail.google.com/mail/u/2/user/?authuser=1 -> https://mail.google.com/mail/u/1/user/?authuser=1 -> https://mail.google.com/mail/u/1/user/ -> https://mail.google.com/mail/u/1/ This now ends up in the mailbox for "[email protected]", not "[email protected]" as it should. Can you fix the addon so the correct account number doesn't get overridden with the wrong one like this? (If there were a GitHub repository with the source code for this addon, I'd submit GitHub issues and pull requests instead of posting here...)

Where is the source code? Could you put it on GitHub?
  • (2021-07-06, v:1.6) Deven T. Corzine: Allow shared profiles?
Can you make it optional to switch to a different profile, allowing different default accounts for specific Google products while sharing the same Google Chrome profile?
