Angular DevTools extends Chrome DevTools adding Angular specific debugging and profiling capabilities.
You can use Angular DevTools to understand the structure of your application and preview the state of the directive and the component instances. To get insights into the execution of the application, you can use the profiler tab, which shows you the individual change detection cycles, what triggered them, and how much time Angular spent in them. You can also inspect and visualize your application's dependency injection tree to better how understand how and why any token was resolved to a specific service.

- (2023-12-12) Danny: Great when it works but the latest update broke it completely for me. Errors in the console when attempting to select a component to debug with it now. Edit: Looks like this is working again for my project (Angular 16), so I presume the compatibility issue has been fixed.
- (2023-11-15) Dwayne Hawkins: It's broken now, "no selected element"
- (2023-11-14) Matheus Bezerra: The elements are listed, but the right pane is empty and saying "No selected Element". My project is on Angular 16.2.12
- (2023-11-13) Deepak Shakya: It lists the components but when an element is selected, nothing is displayed in the right pane. "No selected Element". Working on Angular 16.x
- (2023-11-12) gabeame: Last version for angular 17 brakes a lot of stuff if you are working on a previous version of Angular. Need fix asap
- (2023-07-21) Michele Martinelli: L'ho trovata inutile. La documentazione è incomprensibile come quasi tutto su Angular. Dovuta installare 2 volte solo per farla funzionare. Il mio consiglio: evitate Angular come la peste!
- (2023-06-27) Abdellah GRIB: Really poor !
- (2023-06-26) Mićo Milić: Very good extension but VERY BUGGY
- (2023-06-06) Rodrigo Neves: Somehow it's blocking okta login

- (2023-03-31) Dani Torres Sánchez: The ease that Angular DevTools gives to develop projects in Angular is incredible. Once you get advanced in this framework, it is a fundamental tool for efficiency.
- (2023-03-21) Martin Spierings: Not that useful imo. I'd rather have the state inside the DOM as a tab than a separate thing. Also doesn't always show me everything I want to know about the component on what data it is using. And you can't modify it so it has little use over other extensions
- (2023-03-21) Duki: It's okay, but it doesn't display components inside shadow dom, which is unfortunate.
- (2023-03-04) Abdallah Mekky: I don't know why chrome extensions team removed "featured and verified" icon from this beautiful extension?
- (2023-01-30) Suraj Raj Bhandari: I am using angular 12.2 but it is says 'Angular Devtools only supports Angular versions 12 and above' every time. Not working at all
- (2022-12-22) James A: "Angular application not detected". Thanks.
- (2022-12-02) Nicolás Tudor: This tool allows you to analyse your Angular project but it fails miserably in basic aspects, especially when you try to find out the name of a certain component, which you can only do by hovering over it. Well if the component is not centered you will not get the name, and the hovering function stops working if you close the dev tools and open it again. A quick workaround is to just refresh the page, but then you need to navigate to your desired component. I use this because there are no other tools, that's it. The React dev tools work SO MUCH better...

Angular DevTools only supports development builds." I have changed my setting multiple times to use development mode--but nothing works. This plug-in and it's predecessor have never worked for me. ---------------------------UPDATE--------------------------- After carefully following the instructions at https://github.com/rangle/angular-devtools/issues/868, the tool now works for me.

- (2021-10-15) Alberto Peinado: It really helps with the development proccess. I don't rate it with 5 starts because sometimes, when open it, it doesn't show the whole component tree and you have to manually inspect it from the viewport in order for it to appear in the devTools. Great work!
