Page Ruler is an extension that lets you measure distances (in pixels) on a webpage.
It draws a rectangular ruler when you move your mouse on the page. The ruler has width, height, start and end all labeled with corresponding metrics in pixels. When you move your mouse, the rectangle changes its size and all the numerics are updated. To activate the addon please press the toolbar button once. Likewise, to disable the addon please press the toolbar button again. This addon works with mouse clicks in desktop machines. For touch-enabled devices, you can work with touch to draw the rectangle within the page.

- (2023-10-25) Y Ch: it very good tool , but we need to have more control on the settings like the control to show or the hide each measure for example if i mesure just the width there is no need to see the x , y and h , one more thing we need to have the control to remove that yellow "ruler mode" at the very top left of the screen.

- (2023-08-22) Pontus Erlandsson: It's okay, problems I have with it is that if you measuring something at the top of the screen the measured values go outside the screen. If you're measuring something when a dialog/overlay is open the overlay will be above the ruler and make it impossible to measure.

- (2023-05-24) Jeff Markovich: Worked well for what I need it for. In pixel format, X to X position, Y to Y position, difference is W and H respectively. You can turn it off in Chrome simply clicking on the puzzle piece chrome extension icon in the top-left and clicking on the extension again.

- (2023-04-21) Leo Su: It's absolutely the worst possible thing you could ever install. it overrides cursor making it impossible to do anything with the grid turned on defeating the purpose of having a grid. Not only that, after you remove the extension the plugin remains active!!!! and you have to close the page you are on to get rid of it. If you are working on anything that needs saving, you can't disable this plug in to save with the cursor....DO NOT INSTAL THIS!

- (2023-01-30) John Miller: Works like a charm. The people who are leaving bad reviews about it not being centimeters are at minimum somewhat arrogant and at most very stupid. They obviously know extremely little about their computers work. It might be worth putting a disclaimer in the description explaining why you can't find the real-world dimensions of a computer screen using an app like this.

I don't get why pixel would be useful, I am guessing the good reviews are all just fake!! Mais ce que j'apprécie par dessus tout, ce que l'auteur ne collecte pas de données à travers son extension, c'est tellement rare que cela mérite d'être souligné !
