Description from store

GMail's audio attachments started failing to play with Google Chrome 91.0.4472.77. The console shows:

Refused to load media from 'https://mail.google.com/mail/u/...' because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "media-src https://*.googlevideo.com/videoplayback/".

Seems that GMail isn't following the newly activated CSPs. Until Google fixes it, this simple extension resolves the problem.

Demon 2021-08-13: Didn't work, as it seems it doesn't play certain older versions of .wav files. An issue is active on the developer's github: https://github.com/TriStarGod/GPlayer/issues/1 Hopefully can be fixed.

8CORPIO 2021-06-22: IF YOU'RE HAVING PROBLEMS MAKING THIS "GPLAYER" WORK: (READ ALL) Open the "GPlayer" extension in your browser or click on 3 dots next to it --> "manage extension". This should open up the extension's settings. Now allow "GPlayer" access to all shown websites. These 3 websites were shown for me: http://mail.google.com/* https://mail-attachment.googleusercontent.com/* https://mail.google.com/* This is what worked for my browser (Opera) - should be similar with Chrome or Firefox. Now open Gmail, click on an audio file. It should say "Loading File" for a few secs and then the audio will play. Important: You have to open the email to be able to listen to the audio files - meaning you can't preview it from your inbox like regularly!
