• (2022-10-15) César Rincón: This extension has rediscovered for me many channels that I love on YouTube, that now also publish on Odysee, like Internet Historian, Veritasium, Timeghost's World War Two, Donut Operator, Minute Physics, 3 Blue 1 Brown, Scott Manley, Thoughty2, NileRed... the list goes on, and every other day I find one more, it's brilliant. I think YouTube has become too censorious and draconian, and real competition is needed so they start losing users, and either realize what they're doing and change their ways, or we get a better service from someone else. Right now, Odysee is my favourite alt tech video site because it's not just political content, it kinda feels like old school YouTube. And this extension makes it even better, even easier to stay off YouTube. Five stars, much recommend.
• (2022-09-19) Peter Newell: Helpful. I prefer Odysee and didn't even know some of my favs were already there until this extension showed me so. This will become more helpful as more people will be deciding at different times to start uploading on both, and you won't need to check if they've decided yet with this extension on.

• (2022-04-06) god dammit: It was a great extention. Every time i went on a video from a user with an Odysee acc i would get redirected. But it just, stopped working. It wont redirect anymore. Ive tried reinstalling the extention and it would start to work, but soon after it would stop working once again. I hope this can be fixed.

• (2022-01-15) Ren Rosemary: The plugin is amazing and works great! However I wish there was an option to allow the redirect to open Odysee in another tab compared to changing the site altogether.
• (2021-11-27) Sir GoonGuy: Nice, but the extension is missing the ability to work on Invidious and custom instances, as well as Piped, which is another software like invidious that proxies youtube videos (although there is a watch on lbry button built into that).
• (2021-11-23) Austin Lampitt: I like the idea of this extension however, I think the leap is too large for the mass market. Perhaps instead of a full redirect, the extension goes into the web page HTML and removes youtube's player and comment section and embeds the video and comments from odyssey / lbry instead. This way, youtubes recommendation algorithms can still be used while Odysee's matures.
• (2021-09-30) Terry P: Works perfectly. I am finding all kinds of channels that I used to watch on Youtube are now posting on Odysee. You may have to restart your browser to take affect.
• (2021-09-11) Shawn Hall: I've used this for a few months now and have been very impressed with it's effectiveness at getting me off YT. Only thing I would like to see is the ability to escape other ad-laden and/or privacy-violating sites as well (like rumble).

Struglling to get the csv file that I got from Google working: Go to https://takeout.google.com/settings/takeout Deselect everything except YouTube and YouTube Music and within that only select subscriptions Go through the process and create the export Once it's exported, open the archive and find YouTube and YouTube Music/subscriptions/subscriptions.json and upload it to the extension
• (2021-07-18) Fuzzle McO'Reilly: Its awesome. Whenever you find a new creator or a new video on youtube, this will show you if they have an odysee account where you can support them there instead. Many times you would otherwise just choose to watch someone on youtube because its convenient to stay where you already are, but this is a great way to transition off of youtube, support creators that have made accounts there and grow the best competitor to youtube we've ever had. I'm discovering a lot of people have odysee accounts that I never knew about because of this extension.
• (2021-07-02) Seth Hanson: This is very helpful. I find it that not all the videos I need are on Odysee so I end up watch a lot on YouTube. With this is will automatically switches to Odysee when the video is on Odysee. This allows me to use Odysee more, with less effort.

He loves Odysee and although he didn't mention this extension specifically he mentioned in a live stream using Brave to auto direct Youtube to Odysee. Through some extra searching that lead me to this. I love this and it makes everything so easy. Long live Odysee!
