Description from store On many web pages which have interactive crossword puzzles, this extension will generate and provide download links to obtain the puzzles as .puz, .jpz, .ipuz, or .pdf files. This way, you can solve every puzzle with the app of your choosing, and save an archive of puzzles that you can solve at your leisure. (2021-09-22) Robert Wunsch: For all you crossword lovers who are upset with the NYT for discontinuing the across lite puz file downloads, this extension is your answer. Make sure you have across lite installed on your device and then go to the NYT crossword page on your browser. Bring up the puzzle you want on the screen and tap the extension down arrow and it will offer you to download in .puz,.jpz or pdf. Only just tried it and it seems to work fine. Thank you!

Hi, thanks for creating the scraper. It's truly great! I just switched from Chrome to Orion browser (based on Chrome) and the scraper gets stuck on "loading." I tried turning off the tracking blockers and all that, but no dice. I can go back to Chrome to grab my puzzles, but I thought I'd let you know. Thanks again! --Mike

Hi Jeff, I'm an old retired guy whose PC is still running XP and those old compatible browsers. I read on Crossword Fiend that "Crossword Scraper" is available to download and install as an extension to browsers so that we can print copies of puzzles to take with us anywhere. Is there a link to those extensions?

Is the NYT making it so that it can't be scraped with this extension anymore? I got the error message a few times but was able to get it to work after restarting chrome until the puzzle loaded the previous splash page that didn't cause the error. Love your extension, hate the NYTXW app, crossing my finger that there's a workaround soon.

Hi, I've loaded the chrome extension but the sample puzzles are not clickable, and neither is the settings button. There seems to be no directions how to use it? ie once it's loaded, what are the steps to activate it? Thanks, Keith
