Copy Page Link
Extension Actions
- Live on Store
Creates a formatted link to the current page and copies it to the clipboard for pasting into another document.
Use Cmd-Shift-L (Mac) or Ctrl-Shift-L (Windows) or click the toolbar icon to copy the link to the clipboard.
The confirmation popup displays the link format that was used, and will auto-close unless you select another format from its configurable menu.
When you change the selection, auto-close is cancelled, allowing you to re-copy the link using the new format. It then becomes the default format.
Workflow improvements:
* Directly copy to clipboard with keyboard shortcut or mouse click
* Change the default link format from the confirmation popup
* Access the extension options from the popup (Gear icon)
Configurable features:
* Customize the menu of link formats displayed in the popup window
* Adjust the time interval for the popup window to auto-close (from 2 to 5 seconds)
By default, the page title is used as the display text for the link. You can override this behavior by selecting a text string within the document — that string will then be used as the display text instead of the page title.
