Sans l'extension :
Avant ou pendant la lecture de la vidéo youtube, des publicités vidéo peuvent être diffusées. Ces annonces peuvent être fermées avec les boutons Ignorer l'annonce ou Ignorer les annonces qui s'affichent après 5 secondes. Et donc, vous devez non seulement intervenir, mais aussi attendre que les boutons apparaissent. Un autre type d'annonces peut être des annonces vidéo en superposition qui peuvent être fermées avec le bouton X, ou des annonces en colonne qui ne peuvent pas être fermées.
Avec l'extension :
Ignorer l'annonce recherchera les boutons Ignorer l'annonce ou Ignorer les annonces, et cliquera dessus automatiquement pour fermer les annonces vidéo pour vous. Bien que les boutons s'affichent au bout de 5 secondes, ils sont déjà préparés et les extensions peuvent cliquer dessus pour fermer rapidement les publicités. Les publicités vidéo en superposition et les publicités en colonne seront masquées.

- (2024-06-30) Lukas Best: Generally worked well but seems to add an automated redirect to a "r.srvtrck.com"-Website to links from Google searches and other places. Once I deactivate the extension, the redirects don't happen anymore. This is not mentioned anywhere which I find very concerning since I don't want my data being used for marketing purposes and other stuff without me knowing it. I will uninstall the extension.

It appears that when you search something in Google and the results contain the word "support" (Example: ` dell.com/support `) you'll see a subtle dollar sign icon thing to the left of the title and clicking on the result will make an API request to ` edmitad.com `. To get rid of this, go to "chrome://extensions/" then "Skip Ad - Ad Block & Auto Ad Skip on YouTube" then "Site access" then change the dropdown from "On all sites" to "On specific sites" and add `https://youtube.com/*`.
