Once I deactivate the extension, the redirects don't happen anymore. This is not mentioned anywhere which I find very concerning since I don't want my data being used for marketing purposes and other stuff without me knowing it. I will uninstall the extension.

It appears that when you search something in Google and the results contain the word "support" (Example: ` dell.com/support `) you'll see a subtle dollar sign icon thing to the left of the title and clicking on the result will make an API request to ` edmitad.com `. To get rid of this, go to "chrome://extensions/" then "Skip Ad - Ad Block & Auto Ad Skip on YouTube" then "Site access" then change the dropdown from "On all sites" to "On specific sites" and add `https://youtube.com/*`.
