Visit the Acima MarketPlace™, and select where you’d like to shop from some of your favorite online retailers*. You can also choose from over 15,000 in-store locations if you’d rather shop in person.
~ Enjoy $300 to $4,000 of shopping power ~
Get approved up-front so you know what you can spend or just start adding eligible items to your cart. You can then apply (if you haven’t already done so), sign your agreement, and setup an initial payment.

Use the card info on the virtual Acima LeasePay Card™ and your billing address on your Acima application to complete the payment transaction during store checkout.
*Even though Acima is not affiliated with or sponsored by the retailers, our Browser Extension provides you with Acima’s lease-to-own options at checkout when you shop at certain online retailers. Only certain products are eligible for lease. Acima’s browser extension cannot be used for in-store purchases.
The advertised transaction is a rental-purchase agreement (rent-to-own agreement, consumer rental-purchase agreement or a lease/lease-purchase agreement, depending on your state) with Acima. Ownership is optional. You will not own the merchandise until the total amount necessary to acquire ownership is paid in full or you exercise your early purchase option. See your lease agreement for payment amounts and rental terms.

I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with Acima, and I strongly advise others to be cautious before using their services. I'll explain it here in detail so that others, especially newcomers, can be aware of the problems with your misleading service. First of all, I purchased furniture costing $3,500 from Ashley, which I intended to pay in full. However, I was convinced to use Acima by a representative who said it would help me build credit as a newcomer and that the payment terms were 90 days. When I called Acima's customer service to ask about payment, I was told, quite rudely, that payments would be deducted directly from my bank account. That seemed fine to me at the time. What I wasn’t told is that you wouldn't deduct the full amount within the 90 days. Without any warning or notification, my agreement was converted into a lease, and now I’m expected to pay $9,500 for furniture that only cost $3,500! I received no email or notice about this change. When I tried calling your customer service twice, they simply said they would open a case for me, which would take 15 business days. I never heard back. This feels like a total scam because you're not interested in resolving the issue. You mislead people into paying much more than they expected, and your only solution is to return the furniture – after I've already paid $4,700! I’m pregnant in my third trimester and cannot return the beds and furniture that I need right now. This is outrageous! The only option left for me is to spread the word that ACIMA IS A SCAM, especially for newcomers. Do not trust Acima!

WHEN ACIMA ASKS YOU TO SIGN INTO YOUR BEST BUY ACCOUNT, STILL PRESS CHECK OUT AS GUEST. TAKE A PICTURE OF YOUR VIRTUAL CARD BECAUSE WHEN YOU CLOSE IT, IT'LL BE GONE FOREVER. That is it, do not sign in to your Best Buy account and do not add anything to your purchase after it has been paid for. My mother and I were having a lengthy two day battle with Acima, where it tried to charge her personal card for $1100 and then it took $50 off her card but never placed the order. It was a very frustrating process. Also the first initial payment is $75, we were told something lower, but it is what it is. Terrible app, they need to work with Best Buy a bit better because it seems like an issue with both Acima and Best Buy. They need to become affiliated with Best Buy.
