  • (2025-06-23) Dimitri Katris: Very good application. Convenient!!!
  • (2025-06-02) Frank Klin: I've been using Synology C2 Password for a while, and here are my honest thoughts: Pros: The main advantage is that it's completely free, which is great if you're looking for a password manager without extra costs. For basic needs, it does the job. It saves and stores passwords securely, and I haven’t had issues with the actual storage or syncing. Cons: On my Android phone, managing multiple accounts can be a hassle. When there are a lot of saved users for a site, the app doesn’t always show the username in the autofill prompt. I often have to open the app, find the right entry, and then copy the details myself. Autofill doesn’t work everywhere. There are quite a few sites where it either doesn’t show up or just doesn’t fill in the details, so I end up copying and pasting manually more often than I’d like. Another thing I’ve noticed: after restarting my phone, I have to unlock the app again before autofill works in Chrome. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does slow things down. Overall: It’s a decent password manager, especially since it’s free, but it’s not perfect—particularly on Android. If you just need something simple and don’t mind doing a bit of manual work here and there, it’s worth a try. But if you want flawless autofill on every website and don’t want to jump through extra steps, it might get a little frustrating.
  • (2025-04-21) Joshua: Fantastic. It is easy to use and the built in 2FA Works very well. I do wish it had on prem password storage that synced with your Synology NAS as to not have your passwords linked to their servers in anyway. Not a big issue just more secure that way.
  • (2025-04-18) Amanda Moc: Absolutely Fantastic – Password Management Made Effortless! This password manager is hands-down one of the best I've used, thanks to its incredible ease of use and clean, intuitive interface. Setup is quick and hassle-free, and managing passwords is a seamless experience even for non-tech-savvy users. The layout is thoughtfully designed, making features like autofill and secure sharing easy to access without being overwhelming. It strikes the perfect balance between robust security and everyday simplicity. I feel completely confident using it, and it’s made staying secure effortless. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a friendly, reliable solution.
  • (2025-04-03) Scott Hicks: I love this app. There are a few things that other paid apps have that would be nice, but for a free app you really can't beat it.
  • (2025-03-31) Pranay Maurya: Would love dark theme, rest is great, using it quite regularly
  • (2025-03-24) Andrius Toleikis: Super app.

  • (2025-02-07) Peter Green: Does its job and does it well. Struggle to fault it in any way for my requirements 👍
  • (2025-02-04) Jan Reuser: Love it so far. works really well
  • (2025-01-24) Miranda Oliverius: Easily my favorite password manager that I've ever used. All the settings I want to customize are customizable, it works seamlessly, and it's been a relief to have something steadfast and reliable. I recently had to use a different password manager for a new job (one that I have used previously) and was immediately reminded of what a clunky interface it has compared to C2.
  • (2025-01-17) Andrew Huang: I’ve been using C2 Password for a while now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best password managers out there. It really stands out as a secure, reliable, and easy-to-use option. The security features are top-notch, which gives me peace of mind knowing my data is safe. The interface is simple and intuitive, so I didn’t have to spend a lot of time figuring out how to use it. What I love most is how it strikes the perfect balance between strong protection and convenience. It’s not just about storing passwords—it has a lot of valuable features that make managing my online security easier. Whether you’re looking to safeguard personal data or just want an easier way to handle passwords, I’d definitely recommend C2 Password. Oh and its totally free.

  • (2024-12-05) Saša Stanojević: Perfect

  • (2024-12-05) Sarucha Yanyong: Better than any pw manager which I have used before.
  • (2024-12-03) William Paguay: My favorite pw manager, very accessible and easy to use, good features like password generator are cool. Save me a lot of headaches of remembering a million passwords and keeps my pws secure.
  • (2024-11-28) Nicola Maina: could work better with the standard keyboard, other than that great
  • (2024-11-21) 01 Fogbyte Fogbyte: Please fix the search bar to remain pinned at the top in the web plugin.
  • (2024-08-04) David H (ZakuCR): One of the best Password Manager's online. And free <3 Easy to install configure and manage Cross-platform integration is superb (iOS-PC-Linux-DSM) The only downside is that's missing a dark theme for us, light-sensitive individuals.
  • (2024-07-20) Eugene P.: this is quite good, don't know what the others are on about
  • (2024-06-19) R Z: This is 2024, where is dark theme? Why is there no biometric support?
  • (2024-01-22) Kevin Joyce: The C2 extension causes high CPU in Chrome. It has been reported to Synology but they have provided no timeline for fixing the extension. It has potential but I can't keep turning it on and off to get around the high CPU. What good is a tool that causes the system to be unusable due to high CPU?
  • (2024-01-02) Thomas Lee: very good features, but made browsing slower. hope can fix soon.
  • (2023-12-11) peater lau: As a user who has been using RoboForm for a solid 10 years, I have to admit that C2 Password might still have some ground to cover. But regardless, after a few days of trying it out, I decided to subscribe to the plus service because I truly believe in this company. They not only demonstrate strong prowess in software development but also deliver top-notch service quality. During the usage, I have a few points that I hope the developers can address in the latest version: Key Generation: When generating passwords, there should be a minimum of three special characters, and this count should increase with the length of the password. Password Storage: I hope that password files can be locally encrypted, making the process of filling in passwords super quick. This way, even in situations without an internet connection, it won't hinder usability. Organization and Categorization: With over three hundred passwords, importing them into C2 Password results in a jumbled mess. I suggest that the next version allows for custom categories and supports drag-and-drop functionality for better user organization. I sincerely hope that the developers take note of this feedback and consider implementing these improvements in future versions.
  • (2023-07-24) Jean-François BUREL: Most of the time, on the last version, it asked to update the password while it has not been changed, if I look into the "new password" I can see it is only saving part of the password, which will result in the loss of the saved password and worst, it will be a wrong password saved as it will be partially saved...... also it is very slow sometime to pop up with the password, it is quickier to put in the password myself....

  • (2023-07-20) Daniel P: Try the export function before putting too much work into C2 Password. My exports are missing data - crucial data like PASSWORD, URL, etc. Aside this show-stopper, the user interface offers fields such as IP, SSID and other useful fields which are not even considered as header in the export. This means even if the export was working as expected, the data entered here will never be attempted to export. Waste of my time for sure. As with many password solutions the import/export of passwords presents the biggest hurdle for me. My current solution I want to move from is KeePass with 500+ passwords.

  • (2023-04-11) Ross: It's good, and free. Could be better but why spend a monthly subscription on a password manager? Apps like 1Password are taking the mick now. I want to see a better password generator. Namely a 'memorable' word option, where you can select the amount of words and it adds a dash between them so you get passwords which are easier to read, for example: rhino-crisp-juxtapose
