One Click Search - Select and search popup
Description from store

Description:

Search faster and increase your productivity with One Click Search, the select and search popup.

One Click Search puts more power at your fingertips:

✓ Faster than copy and pasting text into a new tab
✓ More convenient than a context menu shortcut
✓ Don't just Google - search your favourite websites directly

How it works:

Simply highlight any text on any webpage and a pop-up will appear, displaying search icons for all of the websites entries you have stored.

One Click Search is highly customisable with an intuitive interface, allowing you to show as many or as few search icons as you like, in whatever order you like.

Search sites including Google, Wikipedia, YouTube, Amazon, DuckDuckGo, Gmail, Twitter, Facebook and others.

But that's not all - you can add as many additional websites as you choose, allowing you to customise the extension for your own needs. Most websites that have their own search functionality are compatible and can be added as search providers - and many translation services too!

NEW in Version 2.0:

✓ Updated user interface, logo and colour scheme
✓ Easier method of adding search providers from URL string
✓ Customisable popup appearance including colour, size, shape and animations
✓ Sophisticated alerts, modals and dialogs
✓ Responsive options page design
✓ Dark and light modes
✓ Written in ReactJS for a rich user experience

Very easy to use, I personally like it, I hope the max number of displays can be customized instead of only 4

The extension does not save the URL as CAse SENSitive which causes my search to fail on sirsi library web catalog. ``` $ uname -a; google-chrome --version Linux latitude 6.5.0-21-generic #21~22.04.1-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Fri Feb 9 13:32:52 UTC 2 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Google Chrome 122.0.6261.69 ``` Here's a library that uses sirsi: If you change TITLE to title, the search fails: `https://cowt.ent.sirsi.net/client/en_US/default/search/results?qu=TITLE%3D%22god+is+not+great%22&h=1`

This is the best pop up search extension, bar none! I hope there is an option to pop up the icons vertically and not just horizontally.

Absolutely brilliant little addon, particularly with the support for searching custom sites

I like the idea of this extension, however, I need the ability to create a custom search URL where the search term is somewhere in the middle of the URL. It's not always at the end.

Very useful, something I never thought needing of but would be very hard to go back now
