Mulberry misrepresented the laptop warranty I bought, thinking it would cover the $2000 laptop in full. When it broke, they said it was only covered for $180. I wrote them asking for clarification. And like many MANY others looking for support, I got NO response. I never would have bought, and placed my trust in, a plan that only covered 10% of the cost of my laptop.

  • (2022-09-29) George “Kevin” Elliott: I have had items covered by this, but I have had it pop up as available, which helped me to make the decision to purchase an item, only for Mulberry to decide after my purchase that they changed their mind about covering it. That might be ok, if they could explain their rules so a customer can understand. Was it the website that was not covered, or was it something about the specs of the prduct (a tablet) but when you chat with customer service they give canned cut and paste responses and never directly answer a question so a customer just has to guess how to be a customer.

  • (2022-02-23) Robin Alwine: Just saved $31 on a 5-year warranty on a dishwasher from Home Depot over their offering. Since my almost-new dishwasher just kicked the bucket without having purchased the extended warranty, I know it's a good idea to get one(now). The process was so easy, with the Mulberry popup small but noticeable and the price *right there* for comparison purposes. It was actually "active" before I dropped the hammer on the purchase, I believe, officially applicable as soon as Mulberry was notified that the purchase was complete. Obviously, I haven't used the warranty service yet, so I can't comment on that. As with another reviewer, I am surprised at some of the moments the popup appears and some of the items the warranty is offered on, but if it's free, I'll accept it. I wouldn't mind if the popup disappeared a bit sooner without my having to knock it out myself. It is not a bad size, but it is opaque, and if you are using a rebate program, it can cover those options. I would 5-star love it with just a few tweaks of the user interface. If I could have given it 4.5 stars, I would have. It's just that close to perfect.

  • (2022-01-17) Miles Fawcett: Handy service but extension tracks and report ALL WEB BROWSING ALL OF THE TIME PROS So far the service seems solid although I have not made any claims. It is great to get a free year of coverage and they cover some good items. The process of registering items is straight forward and easy. CONS I don't like that the extension appears to report ALL web activity ALL THE TIME to their web analytics accounts. Oddly offers me warranty service on many food items. The notification is intrusive and need to be closed out. This is a pain when I am just browsing items and significantly slows down the browsing process (doubly a drag when it is offering me a one year warranty on nuts. Would be 5/5 without the intrusive tracking that, for me, requires I manually activate the extension only when I want to consider their service.

    Now, pieces of the fire tv furniture were dropped at my doorpost and set up of the furniture left undone. The joy of a customer is to have the product set up matching the desired expectation. I have not even opened the bundled boxes it is too much for me I least expected that I will have to worry setting the furniture up by myself. The needed to make this disclaimer I would have bought the same thing to another store online ... who brings them and set it up.
