Easy Word Counter chrome extension provides a right-click context menu that displays statistics on selected text.
Easy Word Counter lets you view statistics on selected text in a simple and useful manner.
How to use it:
If you highlight some text on a webpage and right-click on it, a new menu context appears to select word counter pro. It will show you the number of words, characters, as well as the average and longest word lengths.
Other word counters open external websites, but Easy Word does not, nor does it require user permissions to count words.
