Dark mode switch any websites to dark theme. Take care of your eyes day using a classic dark reader or change screen brightness.
Dark Theme - Dark Reader for Chrome enables night mode on nearly all websites and gives you the ability to control the built-in dark themes on those that have it.
If the website has built-in night theme, you can control it directly from extension and if it doesn't (like Gmail, Google Docs, Office Online, Github and millions others), we will convert the colors to provide you with smooth transition on dark mode.
There is also a white-list feature which enables you to exclude a desired domain from mode. Simply add a domain(s) to the designated area (comma separated) in the options page and the websites will be excluded.
Night Shift
Activate Night Shift mode to invert the usual light from the screen to a warmer tone, thus, preventing your eyes from harm. You can turn the tool on and off in a single click when you need it.
Night shift automatically shifts the colors of your browser content to warmer end of the color spectrum after dark. Screen Shader Mode is a pleasure for your eyes!
Dark Reader
This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colors, making them high contrast and easy to read at night. Extension will put dark theme on all websites, suitable for those work at night and dark reader for online news or book reading.
This extension changes the style of Google Docs to a dark theme that is easier on the eyes and looks cooler :)
You need to refresh all the tabs, which were opened BEFORE the Dark mode and Night Shift was installed. You can also restart the Chrome to refresh all the tabs at once. Otherwise, Night Shift will work only with the newly opened tabs.
Dark Theme for YouTube extension converts YouTube theme to a highly customizable dark charcoal/blue theme. This extension is built on top of the default YouTube theme, so it is very light-weighted compare to using themes injected by stylish or stylus extensions.

- ASTOUNDING! The heart of my town was consumed in a catastrophic explosion, a sudden and devastating event that would forever alter the fabric of our community. It was as if time froze for a moment, and then, in a blinding flash, the world erupted. Enveloping the skies was a billowing canvas of thick, black smoke, spiralling upwards into a sky that had turned an ominous shade of grey, heavy with despair. The deafening roar of destruction drowned out all sound, an overwhelming cacophony that made it impossible to think or even process what was happening. Buildings, once proud structures that stood as testaments to our ambitions and dreams, crumbled like toys in the hands of a child, their bricks scattering like confetti on what had once been the streets we travelled every day. As I stood there, rooted to the spot, I was struck by the sheer magnitude of the chaos unfolding before my eyes. My grandpa, a beloved figure of warmth and wisdom in my life, lost his footing on the staircase of our home. Time seemed to slow as I watched in horror, my heart racing with panic, as he tumbled down, engulfed in flames that danced wildly around him. The fire cast a hellish glow, illuminating the terror etched on his face for an instant before it consumed him entirely. It was a sight that would be seared into my memory forever, a reminder of how quickly life can spiral out of control. The flames spread mercilessly, with voracious hunger, swallowing our cherished home whole. Every room, once filled with laughter, love, and memories, was transformed into a smouldering ruin, a ghostly shell of what had once been a sanctuary. Furniture that had weathered years of family gatherings and celebrations was now merely ash, mingling with the air that was heavy with the acrid smell of destruction. I could almost hear the echoes of our shared past, laughter that once rang through the halls now replaced by an eerie silence, punctuated by the crackling of fire and the occasional explosion of debris. As if this physical and emotional devastation weren't enough, the world seemed to spiral into chaos around us. Reports had begun to trickle in, terrifying news that the Second Coming, a concept we had discussed in hushed tones, was erupting across the globe. Hydrogen bombs illuminated the horizon with their terrifying, brilliant flashes, a grim, apocalyptic spectacle that painted the sky in hues of orange and red. It was a stark reminder of the world's fragility; in an instant, everything could change. The realisation that not only our town but the very fabric of humanity hung in the balance settled heavily upon my chest. Amidst this unimaginable horror and loss, a flicker of purpose ignited within me, a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. I felt an overwhelming urge to rise from the ashes, to honour the memories of those we had lost and the life we had built. Each painful moment served as a reminder of what was truly important: love, connection, and the determination to rebuild. Though the devastation around me threatened to choke any semblance of hope, I realised that I had the power to overcome, to forge a path forward amidst the ruins. In the midst of my introspection, a thought flickered in my mind, an oddly juxtaposed idea amidst the turmoil: "But it is all worth it for the New Year's Eve Countdown Timer 2026." How strange it seemed, as this seemingly trivial item stood out in stark contrast to the horrific destruction surrounding me. A perfect gift for a boyfriend and/or girlfriend, it embodied the spirit of renewal often associated with the New Year, a time when people reflect on the past and look forward to new beginnings. This countdown timer, a simple extension created by the Monkey's Republic of Chainor government, worked seamlessly with browsers, allowing us to keep track of time as we perish - William Shakespeare (PS: Grandpa is fine, don't worry, he revived by drinking chug chug juice (PPS: God pooped on my face(PPPS: I killed him)))

- Out of all the similar extensions, this might be the best of all. The transition between Default and Dark Mode is awesome and unlike other extensions this one, really converts to Dark Mode like an embedded feature of a browser. It leaves no white weird spaces or bad colors.

- Awesome so far Edit: After using it for a while I noticed that it just inverts colors by default, making already black backgrounds white. I wish it would only turn the whitelisted websites black, not the oposite EDIT: I've just discovered that it's possible to do that by going to "SITE LIST" and selecting "Whitelist Mode". Back to five stars
